Very nice bare bones place. But, did not go to Positano to stay in a room. Bus stop right out front. USE bus. The walk down was a killer for this 51 year old. Rooms 3 and 4 were good, clean, cool, comfortable. Nice view from balcony. Breskfast was as stated in other reviews. Would stay again. But because of bad knee, would look for B&B closer to town. OH! and yes pay the Porters' the 8euros per bag to have them brought to your room! Great host. Very helpful with diner resevations.

Our stay was arranged by Kate Howey of Positano Afficianado. Our hosts, Rosario, Nino and Jianpiero, made our weeks with them a delight. We enjoyed our cafe lattes on the veranda in the morning. They were more than happy to store our left overs and were very patient with us when we hosted parties on the patio. Our rooms were comfortable and clean and each one had a stunning view of Positano and the mountains. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the village are great

We arrived without reservations, the owners were very helpful and accommodating. A big plus is the parking available. The room was basic but clean, quiet. Had a balcony with a great view to Positano, spectacular view at night! Breakfast was basic but served on the terrace with a wonderful view and by the owners who are charming and knowledgeable.

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at Villa Verde. The rooms were clean and charmingly furnished. The breakfast is probably the best deal in town and wonderfully filling. The proprietors are knowledgeable of the area and were very helpful in recommending restaurants and sites. I would recommend this to any traveler, seasoned or not.

This was our second trip to Villa Verde Pensione in Positano. It is a small family run hotel and the price is right. Be sure to ask for room 4 or 5 to get the best terrace and view. Rooms on lower floors are dark and depressing without even a picture on the walls. Breakfast is very basic - a croissant and 2 small rolls with jam and one pot of coffee. Ask for more but prepare to pay for it. The advantage is the location and the availability of parking on site..something precious in Positano! The town bus stop is right at the door so there is no need to use your car while in town. Rosaria is happy to arrange dinner plans with local restaurants that includes transportation to and from for guests. If you don't need luxe accommodations, this is a good choice.

Room Tip: rooms 4 and 5 are side by side with a terrace overlooking the town. lovely.

We headed to Positano for a few days break for our wedding anniversary. We arrived with no accommodation booked & took a drive through the centre to get a feel for the area and then headed back round for Villa Verde as we had noticed they offered parking. A bonus in Positano!!

We paid a very good price for the town & it is in a good location. A little out of the centre but very easy to get to with a short walk down (many) steps but very handy for the local bus & also SITA bus (if you need that).

The rooms were basic & clean & quiet.. We had a lovely view from our balcony, down to the centre & a bit of the coast.

Breakfast was basic but all that is required when you are eating so much throughout the day!

Friendly & helpful staff.

Would recommend staying here if visiting Positano.

Bar Internazionale is in very close walking distance and a great place to watch local Italian life going on whilst having a few reasonably priced beers. Would recommend a visit here too.

After a booking mishap Villa Verde was recommended to us through another B&B. We found the staff to be most welcoming and hospitable, making recommendations for local restaurants and the more secluded (and more cost effective) beaches. The bathroom wasn't the best, but overall a great stay.
