We ate here on our last night in Positano, selecting this restaurant on the great trip advisor reviews. As we were staying locally they sent their shuttle service to collect us, it arrived on time which was great. The trip to the restaurant, based on Montepertuso (hill above Positano) took about 20 minutes.
We had a great table on the terrace over looking the city. The restaurant is beautiful inside with a bit more of an upmarket/sleeker feel to it.
Upon arrival you receive a complimentary glass of prosecco accompanied by some bruschetta. We had a cheese and meat appetiser to start followed by a sharing dish of pasta and seafood, followed by tiramisu for dessert. Washed down with some local beer and wine. The meal cost us about eur 80 for two and was delicious.
My only small gripe was the shuttle at the end of the night was a bit of an ordeal, in hindsight we realised they were waiting for a number of tables to finish up then take us back to Positano in one trip, however as the tables had arrived at different times (many quite a lot later) there was a lot of mucking around. The bill payment process was very long, following this they advised that they had called the shuttle and they'd let us know when it arrived. 30-40 minutes later we were lead out to the shuttle by one of the servers who drove us back to our hotel. We appreciate the free shuttle service but next time would suggest they tell us they were waiting on a number of tables (only on their mains) then we could have ordered another drink or got a taxi.
