We stayed at the hotel from 24th June until 1st July. Very friendly family run hotel, they cannot do enough to help you. Very clean. We had a lovely room on the second floor with balcony overlooking the sea. The breakfast is freshly served to you and even if you do not like eggs, there is plenty to eat and drink. The weather was very hot but the local buses stop right outside the hotel so you can sit on the terrace outside the hotel and wait in the shade! You can access Positano and Sorrento in one direction and Amalfi, Ravello (beautiful) and the rest of the coast in the other direction. We had to leave early on the Sunday morning and not only did Rosalia get up to see us off, she even checked we were awake and we were provided with a lovely packed breakfast to see us on our way. The coastline is spectacular and would recommend the buses (not always totally reliable but they always come eventually!!) rather than hiring a car. You can buy tickets for the bus in the newsagents where the lady is full of knowledge about the best options. We did some beautiful walks in the mountains - The Walk of theGods is spectacular but you need to be fit!!. Would thoroughly recommend the hotel. There are several local restaurants and we did not have a bad meal. Would definitely return to the hotel.

Room Tip: The rooms on the second floor have a sea view

While staying in Praiano, we ventured into this wonderful hotel looking for a corner to call our own while we were away. Every day we glided in, or is that hobbled, anyway Luigi was just so welcoming and would deliver our champagne with strawberries and some olives to nibble as soon as we sat down. How wonderful it was to talk about Praiano, life, Australia, Europe and current affairs plus affairs of the heart with Luigi. It was like coming to visit an old family friend. So salute to you Luigi and your lovely welcoming hotel. Good luck with all you do.

My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Le Fioriere May 21 - May 25, 2012. It was a perfect time to go to the Amalfi Coast. The crowds were almost not existent. We had one day that was rainy, but they were having some kind of unusual weather pattern happening. As the other reviews state, the family of this hotel is warm and charming. The family helped us so much with booking train travel, bus travel, booking tours and referring us to restaurants that served some of the best food I have ever eaten. The hotel is a true value. The view from our room was spectacular. Everything in the hotel was clean as clean can be. There are a couple of things first time visitors to the Amalfi Coast should be aware of: 1. The SITA bus stop in Sorrento is across the street from the train station. You cannot purchase a SITA bus ticket from the bus driver. You need to purchase your bus ticket from the bar across the street from the bus stop. There are several types of bus passes available. 2. As you have probably heard, the roads on the Amalfi Coast are like a mild roller coaster. They are full of hairpin turns, which make it almost impossible to see if your hotel is coming up. Make certain that you tell the bus driver your hotel name, and make certain that you can pronounce your hotel name in proper Italian otherwise he will not be able to understand you. If you cannot pronounce it have it written down and show it to the driver. You will be very happy that you did. We arrived in Sorrento at night and ended up missing our stop and had to walk up the winding narrow street with our luggage in tow. Many others visitors told us of the same experience. 3. If there are no others but your self(s) at a bus stop, make sure to waive at the bus driver to stop, otherwise he might just drive on by. This happened to several tourists that we spoke to. Also make certain that you know which side of the street to stand on to get picked up. The bus stops are sometimes not clearly marked. I hope this helps you on your stay at this most beautiful place. It was truly enchanting. My husband and I hope to return very soon.

Stayed at this hotel with my husband at early June 2012. It was a real surprise for us to find such a gorgeous place for a good rate in the Amalfi Coast, very closed to the gorgeous Positano (approx. 10mins drive or by local bus), It even has parking spaces. The reception area and the cafe on the ground floor are artistically designed. Our room was on the first floor - spacious, clean, with a bath in the bathroom, mini bar, wifi, air-con, TV and a nice balcony with chairs and a table and some beautiful views of the street, the town church and a bit of the coast. It doesn't serve food at the bar as there are plenty of restaurants at the same area.

Upon our arrival, the friendly hotel owner Luigi (who can speak English) and his lovely sister Rosalia welcomed us with two glasses of champagne topped with delicious strawberries. They provided us with some local information booklets. When we settled in our room, it was just about sunset. Sipping champagne and watching sunset was just all we needed after fun driving for a whole day.The breakfast was very good - fresh fruit, yoghurt, scrambled eggs, toast, and of cause, nice coffee. During the day, when we came back from our visit to Positano, sitting at the bar on the terrace and watching people passing by. It was all very relaxing. Its roof terrace has yet to open when we were there, but the owner was very proud of the view from it - a panoramic view of the beautiful bay of Positano. I totally felt in love with this place.

Our stay there was one of the highlights of this trip for us. Absolutely loved it. I will stay there again if I ever visit the coastal area again.

Room Tip: For views from the balcony, the higher floor the better.

We did not stay at this hotel and cannot comment on the rooms, but I can tell you how great the staff is and what a great location this place has. We rented an apartment nearby and visited Luigi and his family frequently the 6 nights we were in Praiano. He was very helpful in suggesting places to eat and even getting us reservations. The hotel is so convenient to the bus stop (right in front), ATM and there are many great restaurants nearby. We came over to use the Wi Fi hot spot and enjoyed everything from cappuccinos, wine, beer and even breakfast the last day of our stay. Praiano is a relaxed, small town with easy connections to visit other great spots on the Amalfi Coast. Luigi’s Mom, Rosa, even came out to our car to say goodbye as we were leaving. It felt like we were guests visiting their home.

This hotel is definitely an excellent option in the Amalfitan coast! I have special thanks to Luigi (family member and administrator of the hotel)! Who was amazing and extremely kind! He gave us the best recommendations at the moment of organizing our trip and always pendent of us! We stayed 4 nights and were a party of 7 (family). The rooms were nice and clean! Breakfast fell as home. The whole family who administrates the hotel is fantastic! Praino is a quiet place with all your needs nearby, and close to Positano, Amalfi, Ravello, etc. Also they offer you parking, in case you rent a car. Our experience at Le Fiorere was definitely superb.

Room Tip: Try to book a room in th 2nd floor, just getting out from the elevator. The view is definetly better...

Excellent hotel on the Amalfi coast. This hotel is run by a very friendly and well organized family. If you don't mind getting the bus to the tourist locations this hotel is perfect. Praiano is a small village but has enough restaurants and wine bars for your evening meal so you can relax in the evening without the throngs of tourists found in Positano and Amalfi. If you are fit you can walk up to the path of the Gods from here. The front desk will advise you and give you a map. The breakfast is very good for Italy and the rooms are quiet and well maintained.

Room Tip: Ask for a sea view room
