Lovely historic building with quirky, modern interiors (typically Italian amazing modern bath fixtures). Our room (all rooms named after flowers) had a cathedral-like stone arched ceiling and futuristic decor-actually very comfortable and fun. Over-the-top richly decorated dining room (picture silk-drapped tables. Fine china on pillows-yes, pillows).
Nice dinner and good breakfast buffet (however, cold coffee both days...?). Staff very helpful with dining recommendations, reservations and directions. Parking on site though getting to the hotel was not easy for us as the street sign is hidden. Good location to walk to Ibla, though spare yourself and take a taxi back. Those stairs in Ibla...!!!
