This is a beautiful, modern and centrally-located hotel which is spotlessly clean and has a very friendly staff, especially Monika at Reception who really went out of her way to be helpful; the bedroom was very nice and spacious, but, it does not get the highest score from me because of the breakfast. I am not complaining of the choice and freshness of the food itself - though the variety, especially the inclusion of more cooked food, can be improved. What we really were not happy about was that the whole room was looked after by just one person! How can anybody expect one person to clear used tables, lay new ones and replenish used-up food dishes? This last was the worst because, if the orange juice or the scrambled eggs were finished, you had to do without or wait around for anything up to fifteen minutes until they reappeared.

The location of the hotel was great--about 10 minutes or less from the train station, centrally located in Ragusa, located near walking a bus connections to Ragusa Ibla. There is a grocery store about 5 minutes away too. The woman who checked us in a the reception desk was friendly and polite, but gave us inaccurate information about the local bus service and didn't have a map other than a terrible photocopy. It's strange that hotel reception wouldn't just pick up maps from the tourist information center, which is close by. We saw a cockroach right inside the entrance to our room, walking just as bold as you please. While we didn't see another, we were kind of grossed out. The room seemed clean enough otherwise, and it was a decent size. Wi-Fi was free, with a fairly slow connection. The bed was comfortable and there was hot water in the shower. We paid 69 euro a night for a double, which was the most expensive hotel on our trip to Sicily. The breakfast at the hotel was quite good, but since we saw the roach and the customer service at reception was not very helpful, I wouldn't return here again.

Centrally located on Via Roma. Large rooms and very well equipped bathroom.
Exceptionally clean and great value for money.
Courteous staff and always genuinely helpful.
Fantastic breakfasts. The ricotta was always irresistible .

At the start of the pedestrian area just across the bridge, this is a handily located hotel. The room was very nice and at a good price. The internet worked well and the included breakfast was well presented and had a good variety.

The most special thing was the help I received from reception staff in achieving my goals. They were flexible as my needs changed and helped me sort out travel issues.

    A good experience.

Room Tip: A view over the bridges would be excellent.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Conveniently located near shopping and dining. Best shower water pressure we ever had in Europe. Good breakfast buffet. The hotel staff was very pleasant and helpful.
