We enjoyed this town better than the very old paths and crowded with tourists tracks of cinqueterre and yes these are many steps but as you walk you enjoy the beautiful houses that are topical of this beautiful ravello place, highly recommended.

I walked from TOP to BOTTOM..and yes, some 1,500 (one thousand and five hundred steps..or so). Best to go from Ravello down. Took me some 45 minutes. Hope you have a good Spa or massages when get to hotel...but worth it.

If you walk/climb from Maiori (the steps start in Corso reginna, as for it) you will see really wonderful views on the seaside, breath a lot of limoni trees aroma. The initial strenuous slope will rapidly finish, to let you discover unbelievable path between old houses. It really worth. You will finally descend into Minori, and than you can come back also via normal road or by bus.

My wife and I have done this walk many times and have always enjoyed it. The views are stunning and being mostly downhill can be achieved by most people. My suggestion is to walk down to Minori and get the local bus back via Amalfi.

This walk is a great experience, taking you through local farmland & rural communities. Start at Ravello & follow the signs (you have to look carefully to spot some of them). The walk takes about an hour and is well worth doing.
