“Just a visit”

We've been this summer on Amalfitan Coast but we just had a short visit to Ravello.
One of the best location of Ravello was Palazzo Sasso even if we do not book a room. The restaurant and the bar manage to carry you back in the classic italian atmosphere. Actually I waited to see if Lanza will apear for a "canzzone".
The view over the golf (Amalfi) is breathless even on a heacy sunny day.

A place we shall visiit soon for some days.

This is the best hotel we have ever been to. Perfect service, gorgeous roons, view and hotel can not be better. The best staff, anticipated every need, went out of their way many times when we least expected it. I cannot wait to go back. I would stay here rather than leSireneuse or Capri as quieter and more quaint.

Room Tip: Any with a view is special but overall beautiful so expect any would be fine. We had the most amazin...

An unforgettable experience, a beautiful property with excellent service!

The setting of the hotel is probably one of the most stunning of any hotel I have ever experienced, at the top of Ravello and overlooking the Amalfi Coast, with gorgeous terraces and gardens containing the pool, the gym and the spa. Inside, the hotel is just as stunning with white marble and opulent furnoshings, which beatifully complement the style of the property. The roof-top sun-deck and jacuzzi is an especially great touch with (even more) stunning views.

While we only had one of the very small (and "slightly" less expensive) rooms facing the street, it was still very nicely furnished, with a perfectly good sized marble-clad bathroom with Bulgari toiletries and an extremely comfortable bed and quiet A/C.

The hotel also offers a complimentary shuttle to their sea-side villa, about a 20 minute drive. This well worth the trip for a day of relaxing on the private terraces by the sea, with a lovely restaurant to have lunch or a drink in. On a costline where the beaches are extremely small and usually crowded, this is a great little feature and one which not many guests seem to have discovered when we stayed.

Albeit this hotel is certainly not cheap, it is one where I feel it is worth spending the money at least once and enjoying all it has to offer (the food and cocktails on the terrace are especially great, while Rosselinis restaurant is also well worth a meal for a special occasion). One reviewer said that it is hotels like this that are the reason for going to work; and I for one totally agree and can only hope I get the chance to stay here again!!

I have been at Palazzo every year for the last several years. It is the most spectacular hotel and the greatest staff led by Antonio! This is a "bucket list" item for everyone.

Room Tip: Sea view!!!

We planned our Amalfi vacation based on the Palazzo Sasso lounge chair by the sea at the Villa. What an amazing place! the Service was outstanding, the room had an unbelievable view and the overall effect was living the life of the rich and famous without being too stuffy or pretentious. Our 11 year old son felt very comfortable; we did also... A dream come true.

The hotel has one of the most amazing views ever. Great service esp in the restaurants. Is it worth the price? If the dollar was at par with Euro but at $1,200 per night it was a bit pricey.

Room Tip: Ocean view a must

We spent two nights in this hotel in the town of Revello. After a hair raising drive up the narrow road edging on the cliff overlooking the Mediterranean we arrived at this oasis. Just walking in the room and looking through the floor to ceiling window/door at the view we knew that this hotel was on our a-list. The service was exceptional: the concierges, the breakfast buffet delightful and the dinner in the 2 star Michelin very very good. We really just spent our time wandering through the charming small village of Revello up and down steps , shopping, enjoying the views and the food. The room was not large, but everything was perfect. I had a wee cold and felt pampered in the cafe with hot soup made to my specifications. I could be sick at that hotel anytime and be happy.

Room Tip: Spend more for the view of the sea.
