Hello,

Ravello is absolutely stunning- Italy without any scruffiness.

The city square, children playing, great cafés and bars, stunning views - wow

The hotel is what you would expect for the price. We had a superior suite - insanely expensive but bloody great.

Go mad and have a great experience.

Cheers

The Palazzo Avino is a truly wonderful hotel. It's in a position where it enjoys incredible sea views, across to Marmorata and Minori, as well as lovely gardens and swimming pool area and the staff throughout the hotel were amazing.

We stayed at the Avino for 5 nights in late April and booked a superior double room with a small balcony and views towards the mountain. Our room was sizable with a smal sofa in front of the TV and a good sized bathroom with jacuzzi bath and shower.

Breakfast is served in the Rossellinis restaurant and there is a good selection of fresh juices, cereals, cold meats and cheeses and eggs, any style, made to order. Sadly it was too cold / wet during our stay so we couldn't eat outside but this is possible and will be lovely during the summer months.

The lounge area is large and comfy, again with tables which have sea views, and a very well stock bar - prices are expensive but no more than you would expect from this quality of hotel.

There is a nice sized pool and the service from the pool attendants is very good - cushions, binoculars and drinks from the bar. There are also a couple of jacuzzis on the hotel roof with fantastic views and a great place to chill with a glass of bubbles.

The concierge were very helpful, willing to book trips as well as suggest and book restaurants. In addition, my wife sadly left her iPad on a ferry, she was lucky that the boat company found it and the hotel arranged for it to be collected from the pier in Amalfi and return it back to her without us even asking, they just presented it back to her - wonderful service and really going the extra mile.

We chose not to hire a car (roads are very busy and narrow) but used Ravello Taxi (the local company) both for our airport transfer (c120 Euro) and locally (one way to Amalfi will be c35 - 40 Euro). However, taxi fares are expensive so you may want to consider the bus which was great value and they run every hour or so and the stop a 5min walk from the hotel.

During our stay we ate in Rosselinis (incredible dining experience), La Vecchia Cantina (great pizza) and Ristorante Confalone (lovely food).

I can't recommend the Avino highly enough and I very much hope that we get the chance to return one day.

Perched on the mountain side with stunning views, Ravello and Palazzo Avino are a good choice for 2 days. Hotel and rooms (slightly on the small side) are immaculate. The weather was still cool in May so perhaps aim from June onwards.

We stayed here for three nights during our two week honeymoon in Italy and it was fantastic! The accommodations and amenities are simply and elegantly appointed. The staff, especially Nicola and Antonio, were incredibly charming, attentive and helpful- truly first class hospitality, our every need was taken care of without having to ask. Palazzo Avino was a VERY relaxing & romantic experience, worth every euro. The location was a short 5 minutes stroll to the charming town of Ravello and in close proximity to the much busier town of Amalfi. This place is a true gem, everything was PERFECT!

The hotel is made by the extremely friendly and knowledgable staff on the front desk. We were offered choice of rooms on arrival. The views from the hotel are fantastic and the little known Jacuzzi's on the roof terrace a great place to watch the sunset. We were there on the first day the beach club opened and it is a must visit experience. The setting is superb the staff excellent and the food including wood oven pizza great at lunch. A tip get there early as sun sets behind mountain quite early in afternoon. Ravello is also a lovely town and the two Villas must see destinations.

We had an amazing stay at Palazzo Avino for the last few days of our honeymoon. The staff was perfectly attentive and helpful without smothering. The view is INCREDIBLE. Truly nothing like it in the world. Our room (108) was a nice size suite with a living room and juliet balcony. We will definitely be coming back. What a beautiful, beautiful place.

Room Tip: Try to get a room with one of the juliet balconies. Worth the extra money to open those curtains in...

Dear Guest,
Thank you for visiting Palazzo Avino and for your kind feedback on the Hotel and the Facilities.
Your room is one of the most popular one. It is a Superior Junior Suite recently renovated with Dedar and Hermes Textiles. Me and my mother chose the blue colors thinking of the blue sky and the sea!

We hope to welcome you back in the near future!

Stunning location, easy to reach by car despite location in pedestrianised area. Staff were very helpful & service excellent. Room was a little on the small size but as with rest of hotel immaculately maintained. The hotel overall has a calm, serene feel, the outdoor spaces are just beautiful. Our incorrect bill on check out was quickly rectified.
