we couldn't have planned for how much we loved Palazzo Sasso. From the welcome bottle of Prosecco to the outstanding breakfast each morning, the customer service is impeccable. And that only is the beginning: the hotel is cozy, serene, and beautiful. The views are some of the most memorable in the world. And there is no beating the charm of Ravello. We dream of going back.

This place is beyond words. The most beautiful place I've ever been. It's like you see in the movies! A little bit nerve wracking to get to because of the one lane steep road up, but so worth it! The beauty almost brought me to tears. My husband and I felt so lucky to have experienced such a fantastic place. The most amazing service we've ever experienced anywhere. I real treat!

We booked through Amex Platinum and got all the perks that came with it except for the upgrade. The woman who checked us in claimed that the hotel was full but it seemed that the hotel was no more than 50-60% capacity at check-in and during our stay. However we never complained because we didn't mind the mountain view and figured we wouldn't spend that much time in our room anyways. Aside from that, this place is ultra amazing when it comes to the grounds, the pool, "sasso by the sea", the decor, the VIEWS, the service especially at breakfast and for most of the staff at the front desk. Some of the front desk staff (Antonio, Margharita, Eugene) were especially helpful and personable which made our honeymoon that more enjoyable. The location is good for this hotel because you are very close to the Ravello Square with many restaurants which the staff helped to recommend. We love this hotel and plan to come back. This hotel is definitely heaven on earth and the views are epic!

A fantastic hotel for a wedding anniversary. Welcoming staff, stunning views & luxurious surroundings. The new spa fits in well with the wonderful pool and again with very welcoming staff. Rooms a little small but made the most of the view - shower only.
Would have given a 5 star rating but for a couple of things. Drainage noise from pipes set in the bedroom walls ruined a morning lie in. Better when we changed rooms but still noticeable. The suspicion was the jacuzzis that sit on the roof. Also we fond the meat dishes in the 2* restaurant to be unacceptably tough, as did the next table, & potatoes well undercooked. The food in the other restaurants was fine, but we found the 2* rating for Rosellini's is not deserved. In fact our best food was in a local restaurant in town. Also I hate paying extra for wifi.
A walk to Villa Cimbrione is a must, and a bus down to the beach villa (sasso by the sea) is well worth it for some relaxation at sea level with an excellent lunch.
Above all a beautiful place to visit with excellent staff

This was our fourth visit to the Palazzo Sasso and it just gets better and better. Every time we return there is something new, this time "Sasso by the Sea", which offers the chance to have breakfast in the mountains and lunch by the sea. The dinner we had in Rosellini's was amongst the best I have ever eaten. The only fault I can find is that the hotel charges for use of WiFi, at this level of hotel this should be free. Having said that, I can't wait until our next visit!

We have been to the Amalfi coast many times. We usually only stay at Le Sirenuse in Positano (the best hotel we have ever stayed at). This time we switched it up and added Palazzo Sasso to our itinerary. The experience was amazing. The room (we were upgraded to a junior seaview) was spacious and beautifully decorated. But the piece de resistance was the view. Which ever way we faced on the balcony, the view took your breath away. Service was excellent. The food was delicious, but quite pricey. The town of Ravello is sweet and charming. We spent one day at the Mamma Agata cooking school (our third time). The food, the family and the views are unparalled. We have become friends. It is not just about the cooking. It is a total experience. Until you have tried it you will not know what I mean. I highly recommend Palazzo Sasso (great for honeymoons) and the cooking school.

We arrived at the Hotel to be greeted by a friendly down to earth reception team. We were escorted to our room which had a wonderful view of the Almalfi coast.
The room was well sized, and the bathroom was functional and had all the amenities that one could wish for.

For lunch we chose pasta at the Terrazzo Belvedere which also served snacks and "fresh pasta dishes", refreshments and delicious cocktails. Our pasta was fresh and very tasty. The view was sensational.

The concierge was a font of knowledge and suggested a local restaurant for our dinner which provided excellent local cuisine at a reasonable price.

The breakfast buffet was extensive with the individual omelette cooked to perfection.
We ate at the two Michelin stars, Rossellini’s restaurant. The menu was extensive and food and service were of the highest standard. The wine list was fabulous and we found a wine to suit our budget based on the sommeliers recommendation.

We could continue to rave about this Hotel but it would begin to sound over the top.
Nothing was too much trouble. We were treated as part of a family and we believe that this is their philosophy.

We spent four nights at the Palazzo Sasso and came away thinking we had experienced one of our best boutique hotel stays ever.
