My husband I recently joined some close friends for a week at the Hotel Caruso to celebrate our 30th Anniversary. We thought twice about the cost when we booked but decided you only live once! I am happy to say the visit to Hotel Caruso was worth every cent. The hotel is gorgeous, the staff attentive and the dining was great. I miss sitting on the outdoor dining room balcony over looking the ocean in the morning...sipping a great cup of expresso and enjoying the tremedous breakfast buffet. The hiking and attractions in the area can keep you busy for days. What a fabulous experience!! I would highly recommend it.

Breathtaking views of the mountains, ocean and amalfi landscape. Te infinity pool and gardens are magical...

Attentive service by everyone hired by the hotel.

Great food: breakfast, lunch and dinner (all while enjoying the above mentioned views)

Spacious room, balcony/ terrace and bathroom. Very well decorated and clean room (we stayed in a Junior suite sea view)

Reception manager (Carlo Soldani) went out of his way to please us.

Note that this on the expensive side but worth every penny.

It was my first stay but certainly will not be the last.

We were married here on 9/18/2013. Absolutely wonderful and luxurious! Can't wait to come back. Staff, service, food, facilities, views, rooms...everything was fantastic. The best hotel we have ever stayed in.

We had our wedding at Hotel Caruso. The venue is without doubt the best in Ravello. The gardens have the most superb view of the coast, the Infiniti pool is breathtaking and the overall quality of the surroundings are simply stunning. The hotel itself is the definition of luxury. The staff are friendly and can't do enough for you. The food at our wedding was amazing and more wine and food just kept coming. Tiziana and her team went above and beyond to make our day the most special of our lifetime. I could not recommend the hotel or staff more highly.

Tonight is the last night of our three night stay at the Caruso. Our Junior Suite was large, with a terrace overlooking the bay and the mountains. The terrace was accessible by large French doors from both the sitting room and the bedroom. The room is impeccably clean. Breakfast was included each morning in a large covered patio/room overlooking the water. The pool is an infinity pool overlooking the bay. The food was great. The staff in the hotel and spa were exceedingly pleasant and helpful. This hotel is excellent in every way

This is a beautiful hotel, in a fantastic location and staffed by top quality staff.
We stayed for a week and still didn't get accustomed to the fabulous views from our room and most areas of the hotel. The gardens and infinity pool are great places to relax. The pool restaurant offers a wide menu of quality food.
The breakfast is served in the Belvedere restaurant. We had a half-board package which included breakfast, and accordingly we visited every day. There is an extensive buffet and also a wide a la carte breakfast menu: order the American breakfast and be surprised by the subsequent feast!
The Belvedere is also a very romantic location for dinner: the food is superb!
Our suite was beautifully decorated, fully-equipped and the toiletries were Bulgari and Penhaligans.
There are 50 rooms, but with wedding events and dining, the hotel seemed quite busy, despite being close to the end of the season and after the Ravello Festival. There was a huge annual firework display at Torello on 15th September, a tiny village immediately immediately below the hotel and this was a unexpected bonus.
The staff are very friendly and helpful, but as some other reviewers have noted, sometimes service can be quicker. Perhaps this is a cultural issue as most guests are on holiday rather than business and the staff do take time to interact with their guests.
Whilst expensive, this is a unique hotel in a timelessly beautiful setting: highly recommended!

This hotel is truly a dream. Everything is beautiful, all of your needs are anticipated, I have absolutely no complaints. What a beautiful place in the world and an even more beautiful hotel. The restaurant is delicious, the bar (Tomasso) was top notch, the rooms were fabulous, clean and very comfortable. The turn down service unprecedented. The 9 levels of gardens in this hotel are breathtaking.
