We recently arrived back from this hotel, I stayed there with my partner and we were there for her son's wedding in the Duomo in Ravello. The staff in the hotel were all very friendly and always smiled. We were on half board and the food in the restaurant was superb, always plenty and excellently served. Everywhere in the hotel wasimmaculatey clean, even the bed linen was changed every day. The hotel had a small but adequate swimming pool, was only about 10 minutes walk from the centre of Ravello and even provided a free shuttle service to Amalfi. All in all this was a great stay and will always be remembered.

This hotel is lovely and clean with great views, pool and breakfast. The room we stayed inwas tiny and stuffy. There was no air conditioning or fan to circulate the air and so we were forced to leave the window open which made the room noisy from the traffic. Our room looked out onto the road and petrol station, not the greatest but we were only here one night. If we were staying longer I would have asked for a different room or fan or something to make the nights more comfortable. The bed was also quite short and hard!

We had room 8 right at the top, astounding views,own terrace;staff warm and friendly, nothing too much trouble;swimming pool has built in Jacuzzi; marble everywhere,flowers plants;lovely food at dinner;
bit farther to walk to central square meant chance to walk dinner off! Even had two bookcases packed with paperbacks etc place for adults not children. Wonderful.

We found What we expect after a long journey: a perfectly clean room;a stunning view over the coast; an excellent restaurant service & dinner; a perfect breakfast and what most important ... a space to park our car... April 25tht in Italy might be a nightmare in regard of parking spaces.... and it's wonderful to walk in the hotel and have a gentle young lady that, smiling says, that they will take care of your car.
The difference is made by the people and this really the fact; this is a family managed hotel, with a long history (it seems from what we understood...) and with a team that it's happy to work for the Bonadies' family. Will surely reccomed

I was in Ravello for 3 nights to attend a conference. The hotel was a good choice (fairly priced, rooms may have a stunning view, breakfast is ok). Notice that I'm not using superlatives but it's much better than the average and much cheaper than plenty of other places in town.

I was in room 5 (very clean, wide bathroom with no window and a Jacuzzi shower), with a view "on the mountain", which in a way means no view. if you wish to have a view on the stunning coast, there are different options: room 8 and 9 for example have no direct view but they give access to a wide terrace (that can be used by others, for sunbathing and beautiful vistas; room 16 has a tiny terrace (half a meter wide) and direct view; room 28 blends the two: you have a private terrace with a ficus and a very nice view. Better rooms are priced 230 euros while n. 5 costs 140 euro.

Breakfast was ok: nothing was extraordinary but ingredients were good (ham and sliced cheese, fruit juices, one homemade cake, 3 kinds of cereals, mixed fruits and yogurts). No hot dishes like scrambled/fried eggs or sausages/beans. If you sit close to the windows or outside, you can enjoy the view.

Restaurant: in a way, it was fun. The menu had dozens of choices but, due to the off-season period, they only had two/three things. After some time we realized that it was just better to say to the waiter "bring what you have"! The dinner was very enjoyable and the food we got was very good, 36 euros per person.

Wireless internet is free but available only at the reception area. I appreciated a lot that the staff is parking your car in the garage at no cost as finding a parking can be annoying and you'll get almost certainly fined as there are no available parking slots around.

Tip: if you do not want a full meal just exit the hotel and walk 30-40 meters on the right to find a small grocery on the left where you can have a fresh sandwich (you pick the bread and the filling, Ciro and his wife will serve you), snacks, drinks and fruit. Then go to the nearby little square to eat your stuff with gorgeous views.

Finally, as of today, they are renovating some parts of the beautiful building. So, if you plan to go there soon, ask whether the works can interfere with your sojourn (say, blocking the view with scaffolds or in any other way).

We stayed in a bed and breakfast just outside of Amalfi and hiked our way across Atrani and up the seemingly endless line of steps to Ravello in the rain. Our bedraggled look did not quite fit the style suited for a restaurant of white marble floors and pressed linens; however, we asked if they were still serving lunch because most of the other restaurants in town were closed for riposo. We also explained we had our dog with us, who happen to actually be in far better spirits than ourselves, and much to our surprise we were shown the way to the best table in the place overlooking Minori and Maiori. Granted, we were the only people there when we arrived, but the staff treated us with great respect and made an exception for us do to our furry 'child.' The warmth of the crepes filled our stomachs and the local red wine they served us rivaled many a glass we have enjoyed in France. The staff was not only courteous, but also very friendly. Given our many disappointing encounters at the overly popular tourist hotspots (i.e. Venice, Florence, Rome), the Amalfi area was a pleasant surprise. We will go back to Bonadies.
