“What's the harm, go take a look”
Reviewed 10 June 2014

Alongside the ferry ticket office so worth a stare while you await the boat. It maybe an industrial building but someone woke up one morning and decided that this would be the location of a memorable building on a super grand scale and their inspiration is our benefit.

“You can't miss it”
Reviewed 29 December 2013

Art-deco meets fascist era 'le grand project', anywhere else other than lakeshore would be interesting industrial heritage, but here 'que sera meilleur' buried in the mountain?

“Unusual industrial art”
Reviewed 10 October 2013

Worth strolling along in the evening to admire the architecture. A change from the usual tourist sites - unusual to find a working hydroelectric plant with real artistic interest.

“Probably the prettiest hydroelectric power station I have seen”
Reviewed 10 May 2013

I was drawn to go to see this because of the huge pipeline which runs down the mountain, from the other side of the lake it looks like a funicular railway. The buildings are of a 1920s style and the station is still working. The water is expelled into the lake by spray under the jetty making an interesting noise. If you are into engineering heritage this is worth a look.
