This was slightly more upmarket than the other places we visited in Sanremo, but it was very close to our hotel and we fancied splashing out. I'm so glad we did as the fish was truly remarkable.
We had the Turbot and the Monkfish. The Turbot dish comprised of four large fish steaks in a light sauce on a bed of roast potatoes and sauteed courgettes. The fish was fresh and cooked to perfection. The Monkfish came out in a large boat dish, completely submerged in a tasty tomato, olive and caper sauce, with tonnes of shellfish on top. Again, the Monkfish was cooked perfectly. It was firm yet it fell off the bone.
Some of the reviews on here are mixed. I would highly recommend going here for the fish alone.
