Perfect location, close to shops, restaurants, beach. Room I stayed in could hear very little noise from outside the hotel. Lots of noise from squeaky floorboards inside the hotel.
Friendly staff.
Room was clean, and comfortable.

Clean and pleasant Hotel, breakfast good, great location, a few mins walk to shops and restaurants. Parking is a bit difficult, we emailed to reserve parking but didn't get it ! There's a fridge in room but doesn't work, no tea/coffee facility's but 24hour room service , only 1 shower gel in bathroom and not many towels, no towels for the sun loungers , lovely view from roof where you can sit , even though there was only a couple of sun loungers out , the rest were pile up in a room on the roof which looked a bit untidy, but mainly a good place to stay.

Room Tip: Book a room with a balcony

Lolli palace hotel is very pretty from the outside and we had a lovely room; overlooking the gardens to the side and we could also see the sea. The room was furnished really nicely and was actually quite homely. The hotel is just across the road from the beach so it's really convenient, and absolutely loads of places to eat out!! It's in a great location for restaurants and shops, and just a ten min walk to the harbour which has a good atmosphere too. It's a half an hour walk from Sanremo train station.Be aware that apart from one very small area the beaches are all private which means you have to pay for sunloungers.

The breakfast was a continental selection. The breakfast room itself is really nicely decorated, very elegant, with views of the sea which was so pleasant in the mornings. The staff were friendly and helpful.

While in Sanremo I would highly recommend hiring bikes (opposite the hotel and cheap) and cycling on the fabulous cycle path they have along the coast. Brilliant! Also the whale watching is a worthwhile excursion.

Overall a great hotel in a very nice area; we were very pleased.

The new rooms are very nice.
The old rooms severely dated and no good at all.

We had one of each this summer and the one with ocean view (most expensive) was a mess.

The staff was rude and did not really care. The breakfast sloppy and the common areas had an old smell to them.

We did not like this hotel at all!

The only positive thing I can say is that the location is good.

Room Tip: Get a refurbished room - or another hotel!

Clean and nice hotel. I´d liked a lot about feeling that they have there. Hotel is located quite close to the sea. Brekafast is simple but tasty. They have sun beds top of the hotel. Nice view over the city.

Room Tip: Ask for 5th floor junior suite.

Arriving by car was initially difficult as there is no parking at the hotel. Room was spacious, clean and the bathroom was large enough with a walk-in shower. Furnishings were good and the bed was large and comfortable. Car parking was across a very busy road on the promenade car park and apparently at risk overnight.
Breakfast was good and included in the price.
We are not impressed with Sanremo as it does not have the Riviera "feel"as so many other towns do.

We stayed here overnight on the 22nd June on our way down to Italy.

Let me start off by saying that we wouldn't go back to San Remo again, as we didn't much like the town as a place to visit, so the slightly negative review may be coloured by this.

Positives - the staff were great - we had asked for a reserved parking space and one was provided (at a charge) in a locked garage, so we felt our car was secure at the start of our journey down to Tuscany. There is a restaurant but we weren't inspired by the menu so went out looking, and found a great little place down a backstreet. When we came back, the night porter (who couldn't speak a word of English) was very helpful and made sure we were catered for in the large downstairs lounge until we were ready for bed.

Average - the breakfast was well laid out but for me slightly uninspiring, however I am demanding at the breakfast table and most people would have been OK. The rooms were small but again, we had a sea view with a balcony and this was very nice. I guess we requested a sea balcony room so we got one!

Negatives - there weren't any really.

If we went to San Remo we'd certainly give it another go, but suspect we won't be going back.

In summary - nice hotel, shame about the place.

Room Tip: The hotel is a little dated, so go for the view and just enjoy!
