Hostel looks really good from the outside (nice deco and super modern). However, we got a shock when we entered the dorm. Our beds were NOT MADE (i.e. the bedsheets of the previous tenant was still there and its obvious because the bed was very messy). Also, there were many bedsheets, tissue papers, food crumbs on the floor. Seems like they didn't clean the room for days. Also, there was no hot shower! Had to bathe in freezing water. The shower area was small and the hooks were outside (no logic at all). The shower doors were super translucent so you can totally see the person bathing. Finally, the WIFI was not working AT ALL. Not in the lobby, not in the rooms, not anywhere. Breakfast was boring and tasteless. Just croissants and tasteless cereals. Be warned!

When we arrived it was very late at night and we were greeted graciously by a friendly staff who gave us keys to our rooms. The beds were very comfortable however they were not pre-made upon arrival and so we had to make them ourselves. That was a bit of an inconvenience but can be expected at a youth hostel. The rooms were very nice and clean and ours overlooked a soccer pitch. The bathrooms were very clean as well and the showers had great water pressure. You had to put a deposit of seven euro down for a towel, five of which they gave back after you returned the towel along with a receipt. The breakfast was mediocre, serving decent croissants and bad coffee along with jam and chocolate hazelnut spread. They also offered choices of cereal with milk. Dinner was not included but was very well priced and the best I have had at a hostel restaurant. The first night I had spaghetti with marinara and meatballs and it was delicious. The bar downstairs had a very friendly staff that accepted credit cards. A good place to start the night. Getting into the downtown area of Sorrento is a little tough, at least a 30 minute walk or 25 euro cab ride. The one real problem that I had with this place was that they advertised WiFi but the entire weekend it was offline. Otherwise, great place, great helpful staff, and good food.

I was pretty disappointed in this hostel. It looked great from pictures and had a lot of potential but didn't live up to expectations. First of all, the wifi is absolutely horrible. It worked for a cumulative five minutes in the entire time we were there. The connection isn't strong enough for the number of guests all trying to get on it. Also, the bathrooms were pretty gross. I would be surprised if they cleaned them once when we were there. There was toilet paper all over the floor, the floors were always wet, and they were always out of paper towels. The rooms were fine, spacious and relatively clean. However, they made us make our own beds and the only blankets were gross and shoved into cupboards. Breakfast was standard continental breakfast, not a lot of options and not great.

Overall, this hostel wasn't the worst I've stayed at but was pretty disappointing. It could be a lot better. It's also not even in Sorrento center, probably about a 25 minute walk.

We ended up staying here as all the hostels in Sorrento were closed due to it being the winter season. Despite this we were pleasantly surprised! We were two girls so shared a private room which turned out to be great value for money. Breakfast was included but was not too extravagant so don't expect much there. On the contrary, the staff were very helpful! They rung everyday to see if the boats were leaving for Capri (due to winter weather - they don't always go) as well as any other requests we had. Overall, clean, warm, cute village and brilliant service :)

Room Tip: If you are 2 friends and don't mind sharing a bed - opt for the private room. Same price but you...

The hostel was very clean with modern furnishings and amazing bathrooms. The breakfast was good but I did not like how the people behind the bar watched everything I ate..God forbid I take an extra croissant! Actually I did sneak several out and made sandwiches with them when I went to Pompeii. The other guest were very noisy and loud. For this reason I moved to a different hostel in Naples. One other thing I did not like was the location. Seven Hostel is to far away from Sorrento, Italy.

Feels like a hotel! Loved this place. Bear in mind it is actually in sant agnello, one train stop out of sorrento. But don't let this deter you there is a good beach and restaurants nearby. This place has clean, air-conditioned rooms, good bathrooms, wifi everywhere, helpful and dedicated staff, a restaurant and bar, and the best part - two rooftop areas with amazing scenery and an excellent bar and bartender. A really great place to stay, highly recommended!

Stayed here for one night only.

Easy check in, friendly staff. Clean room. We stayed in a 10 bunk room ( I think!) room was clean and bathroom facilities were good. Beds were comfy and had a locker for our bags. We used laundry facilities which were expensive and didn't dry out clothes properly so we ended up hanging them up in the room.

Breakfast is average but fills you up. It is a walk into sorrento, supermarkets are nearby but if you want to eat food or drinks bought in from outside you have to eat upstairs as they have a bar and restaurant in downstairs area. From what other travellers were saying the restaurant is average and not worth trying.

Wifi is excellent. They also have a computer room to use that you can print from for a price.
