Recommended if you want a peaceful holiday with no fighting for the sunbeds. Only 19 rooms, ours was beautifully decorated and very clean, the cleaners come every day.
Fantastic breakfast, great views.
Staff were excellent, very friendly. I would love to go again.

Room Tip: Try to get room 105 which has the larger balcony.

My husband & I spent 11 days at this hotel with a cousin of ours. We had a most wonderful room with a balcony that was almost as large as the room, We overlooked the Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius. The sunsets were amazing. The staff could not do enough to please and were so friendly. I felt as though we had made new friends during our stay. The pool area was clean and tastefully furnished there were plenty of shaded areas. Breakfasts were good with plenty of choice and no surcharges for cooked eggs. There were also no surcharges for room service. All in all this was a most magical hotel my husband and I would certainly visit again.

We recently got back from a holiday in the amalfi coast. Stayed at villa garden for 5 nights. I was with my husband and 20 month old daughter. The staff at this hotel was very friendly, helpful and courteous. The hotel location is amazing and its very easy to get to the sorrento city center from here whether you walk (15-20 mins) or take the bus (5-7 mins). I would definitely come here again.

Once the hotel was booked this was confirmed by email and replies to questions were very prompt. The staff were attentive without being intrusive. They arranged transfers, flowers, tickets and may other requirements without fuss. The hotel is peaceful with fantastic views. The location is 15-20 minutes walk into Sorrento but there are plenty of good restaurants in St Agnello. There is a bus service which stops at the end of the road but we did not use it as there was a strike, so we cannot say how reliable it is. We used the local train on many occasions (10 minute walk) which was very efficient. So being away from the town centre was not a problem. The rooms were extremely clean and whilst we didn't have a balcony again this was not a problem as we sat on the front terrace with the fantaistic seaview and sunsets or on the terrace next to the pool which was quiet and relaxing. The pool was never busy and sunbeds always available another benefit of a small hotel. If you want a hotel that is lively and children run around enjoying themselves this is not for you.

Spent 10 days at this hotel. I think it rated as a good three star, rather than four.
The best thing about the hotel, without doubt, is the beautiful view from the Terrace. I must admit, I was slightly disappointed that there was a small road between the hotel and the terrace which can become noisy but the view is so gorgeous that you soon forget about it. The first room we were given was small, dark and by the road. We asked to be moved and they did this for us the next day without quibble. In fact the staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Our room was slightly shabby but I think this varies from room to room as our children's room was better than ours! However, they are very clean with new towels every day. The breakfast was OK, nothing special and got a bit boring by the end of the 10 days. The pool area is very clean but be aware - my teenage boys bought a ball to play with in the pool and they were told that they could not use it which is great for couples but not so great for children especially as the beach nearby is incredibly expensive to use - 40 euros for four sunbeds and one parasol. If you wanted to swim in the sea you can go and lay on the concrete to the left of the entrance to the beach - but this is not my idea of holiday luxury!. There are three or four restaurants in the area - we tried the Moonlight and the Piccola? which were OK for one or two cheap evenings. We also tried the Japanese/Italian fusion restaurant at the Cocumella hotel which had a great ambience and fantastic views. Be prepared to pay in the region of 150 to 200 euros for 4 people - but it is worth it!. The walk into Sorrento is on a very busy road but only takes about 25 minutes. Sorrento itself is very busy, very touristy but worth a visit - just for people watching! One word of warning - do not do the appalling Blue Cruise to Positano or Amalfi (note it is Positano OR Amalfi not both). It is very expensive for 2 adults and 2 children, the boat was overcrowded with very little room (all the deckchairs were taken and we had to spend the day on cheap plastic chairs on the small amount of available space we could find). We were herded about like cattle through a restaurant where we were expected to buy drinks before even boarding the boat and we seemed to spend most of the day queuing! One more word of caution - take plenty of money - you have to pay extra for absolutely everything.

Top class hotel in a quiet location with superb views over the Bay of Naples. Because this is a smaller hotel, we received more of a personal service, all the staff here were very friendly and were very helpful advising on days out and places to eat etc. It is a good 20 minute walk into the centre of Sorrento, but there is a very good local bus service and bus tickets can be purchased at reception (you cannot buy tickets on the bus). There are also 2 or 3 good local restaurants without having to go into Sorrento. Our room, overlooking the pool was excellent. It was very spacious, comfortable and clean and we had fresh towels every day. The pool and garden area was lovely. The only very small criticism was that there were no umbrellas with the sun beds. It was very hot when we were there and there are shaded areas in the garden, but you have to move away from your sunbed to find the shade. We stayed on a B & B basis and the choice of food in the breakfast room overlooking the Bay was very good. On the days when we stayed round the pool, there was also a very good choice of food for an al fresco lunch (salads, sandwiches etc.). Overall an excellent hotel for a quiet relaxing holiday, but very close to busy Sorrento.

Room Tip: The best rooms are at the front of the hotel overlooking the bay or the side overlooking the pool.
