We booked this hotel for our main two week holiday through C'Italia and hoped that it would meet our expectations. It certainly did.

Sant'Agnello is a little outside Sorrento and is a perfect base. HVG has a superb location and the breakfast room and deck (paravisiello) are big benefits - you won't get better views. Breakfast is a lovely spread, all you could want, all you could eat.

Our ground floor room with terrace was lovely. Good size, lovely bed and nice bathroom. The only criticism for UK visitors would be would have liked tea & coffee making facilities. We didn't use the mini bar except for the odd bottle of water.

Service here is very personal, you feel part of the family. Whatever your want you can have and while we spent around Euro 500 extra at the hotel over two weeks, prices were not high, we just loved the place so much.

The pool is fantastic and with only 19 rooms, it's never busy.

Close to Sorrento, the 20 minute walk is easy but not attractive. But we would rather have Sorrento accessible at a distance.

We would recommend this place to anyone - you could pay more and get better but some of the character and personal approach we were looking for would be lost. We loved our time here, photos don't do the place justice and you can only imagine how good it is by booking yourself.

We were so pleased with our stay at this hotel, right from the congratulatory champagne on arrival to the farewell check out this hotel and all the staff we're perfect. The food, room, pool, and staff are all brilliant. Would be glad to go back anytime!

Almost like coming home after a hot, busy day sightseeing. Coming back to the tranquility of the perfect location and wonderful staff. Beautiful rooms. The swimming pool revived us after a hot day. Sitting on the terrace ovelooking the bay and Mt. Vesuvius was mesmerizing. The room was comfortable, big, the bathroom with a beatiful deep bath and the shower. Breakfast area is stunning. The selection was excellent and Gabriella and Pino in particular made out stay, though very short, just two nights, unforgettable, we would happily go back and stayed for a lot longer time.

We spent a week in thi a hotel as a family with our 7 and 4 year old sons. We stayed in room 204 which was perfectly laid out for us. Two single beds for the boys in one room and a double room for us, our room faced across the bay towards Naples and Mount Vesuviius. The only downside to the room was no shower - only a handheld shower over the bath.

The daily breakfast was plentiful although we never took advantage of anything off the menu. And the views from the breakfast room were amazing!

The staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. The pool is good, in a lovely setting. Although most of the other guests during our stay were lovely, be aware, though, that some guests like the pool area to be almost soundless and our children got many disapproving looks for playing in and around the pool, despite complying with the no ball games/splashing/jumping rules. They weren't the only ones - an adult couple laughing and joking in the pool were also scowled at!

There were plenty to do nearby. We enjoyed La Marinella for the beach, jumped on a train for Herculaneum, joined a hop on, hop off bus tour around the corner and walked into Sorrento for dinner, gelato or shopping.

Room Tip: Room 204 is perfect for a family group, with lovely views. There is no balcony so a relief if your c...

A cute little hotel far enough away from Sorrento's town center to escape the craziness of the high season with its traffic and masses of tourists . Got a very small room on the first night but could upgrade to a junior suite for the rest of our stay .

This really is a litte piece of heaven. Beautiful, beautiful hotel right on the sea front with amazing views overlooking bay of Naples from hotel terrace. This is simply the best hotel service you'll find. Quiet, unassuming staff that manage to take care of everything without a fuss.
We stayed for 10 nights and so much to do in area. Pompeii, Capri, Amalfi, Positano, Sorento and boat trips with Capitanoago which hotel will organise. Simply a perfect base.

This is real Italian charm at its best and will be hard to beat. The Tripadvisor reviews are all true. This is near perfection.

If you're looking for a peaceful base with Sorrento and all it's bustling charm just a 20 min walk or 5 min (1euro 20) bus ride away. This is the place. So sad to leave - this is Nirvana!

A very beautiful and family friendly hotel. The stuff is amazing. The organized us a perfect bout tour, flowers for my birthday and did a reservation for us in a great restaurant.
We had a wonderful time there. The name - Villa Garden is really perfect because this lovely hotel is surrounded by a beautiful garden, full of flowers and in the middle is a very nice swimming pool. They have a terrace with an amazing view over the gulf of Napoli and you can also see the coast of Sorrento. By feet you just need about 20 minutes to the center of Sorrento. It's very nice that the hotel is not directly in the center, because here you can really relax and it's not so noisy.
We had a double room with balcony. The view from our side balcony is partly obstructed by the next villa. There is only one room with direct balcony where you have a wonderful view from your room over the gulf of Napoli.
The breakfast was awesome and the breakfast room was built directly in the rocks of the coast with a big window front so you can enjoy the amazing view during breakfast.
The room was very clean and you have a big wardrobe where you can put all your stuff in. Just the pillows are a little hard. The Bath is nice decorated with the local floor tile.
In the evenings you can enjoy a drink in the lovely garden or at the terrace. Just 2 minutes by feet there are some nice little restaurants.
It's quite calm there but because the next Hotel (Hotel Corallo) celebrates a lot of weddings you hear the music sometimes.
You have to reserve a parking place and this is just at the road, so your car is not locked during the night. But it's not a dangerous place there.
The hotel has a very familiar atmosphere. We loved to spend our holidays there and it would be not the last time we came!
Thank you to the great stuff!!
