Its a terrible place! We didn't bring any sweets or food with us, but there were little ants all over the room, bed, and bathroom. They got into our suitcases and were even crawling on our bodies in the morning when we woke up (ew!). There was a closet in the room, and when we opened it we discovered someone else's clothes in it. The website says its a 10 minute walk to the center of Sorrento, but really its closer to 30 minutes at a brisk pace. We made our reservation for a room with 2 beds, but got stuck in a room with only one bed, and they wouldn't even give us a price reduction. The breakfast was very meager and depressing (one packaged croissant per person, not at all like it is advertised). The staff doesn't speak any English, and even tried to overcharge us for our stay. Would never recommend this place to anyone!! Do yourself a favor and pay the extra 15 euro a night to stay at a decent place!

Good sized room with balcony with nice outlook and good ensuite bathroom. Secure parking on site. Very clean and comfortable. On third floor – lift at times not working. Plentiful continental breakfast shared with owners (great coffee!). Helpful and friendly people. Good eateries nearby. Address is GPS friendly – delivered us to the front gate. Within easy walking distance of train station with direct access to the historic sites, and to the clifftops of the Bay of Naples.

I've just came back from my trip around the Amalfi Coast and Casa Susy was the best place we've stayed in this area. Don't expect hotel service standards. Although the location is not brilliant, all we needed was a good place to rest at night (and a shower with hot water). They also offer wi-fi. Rafaella, the hostess, was friendly and very nice. She gave us all the information we needed. The breakfast was ok, nothing fancy, a good coffee, croissant and biscuits. I totally enjoyed!!!

While our stay was only 2 nights, we can say that we were freezing cold as there was no heating (in December!) and when we asked to wash our clothes, we were not told the spin cycle did not work on the washing machine so our clothes has to drip dry (impossible in Winter!). We had a small electric heater in our room which we ran all night both night in anattempt to keep us warm & get our clothes dry.
The family were vey lovely but as other people have reviewed, our directions were badly given and we had difficulty getting hold of someone to let us in the apartment.
OK for the money paid.

We stayed here for 4 nights in May 2006, we were given the rooms that are outside of the main building, which were clean and tidy. They had very small showers/bathrooms but one of the rooms (a triple) had kitchen facilites which was handy. The accomodation was ok for what we paid, the breakfast was rolls.juice and cakes, and the people that ran the place were friendly. It was a bit annoying that they only accepted cash for payment as they claimed there credit card machine was being repaired, having read other reviews it seems its been broken a long time! The location is good, walking distance to the train for day trips to pompei etc, slightly longer walk (25 mins) to main sorrento town but you can also get a bus.
