“A little bit of everything”

A wonderful hotel with attentive staff, the place is almost like a resort. Great views, clean lobby, large outdoor and indoor spaces, large rooms with high ceilings! We arrived stressed from our drive from Naples and thought the GPS was wrong, because there were a lot of people dressed up in the hotel lobby, later we found out there was a private dinner party. Once the reception found our reservation they were very helpful and took our luggage up to the room while we were directed to park our car. The private parking is a little confusing, it is like a zig-zag across a busy street from the hotel and we had trouble seeing the green gate at night. When we got back to the hotel, we were told we got upgraded to sea view with a balcony! I was so excited and it was the best room we had on our entire trip through Italy. The rooms are decent size, the bathroom tile seemed a little dated but it all functioned very well. We stayed 2 nights and had dinner on the terrace at the hotel both nights because the sea view is amazing. Even the breakfast had outdoor seating on a balcony facing the water. We drove the Amalfi coast and my boyfriend got stressed from the drive so we went back to the hotel and we ordered cocktails at the bar in the late afternoon and relaxed in the sun. We didn't want to leave and I can't wait to go back, by boat next time!

Spent 6 days at the hotel. Overall it is amazing, light, cheerful and amazing views. Booked in and were shown to a very inadequate room and then the occupants next to us were heard to scream at each other for hours. We complained about room and noise but had to wait until the next day when the occupants left and we could have their room which was larger. No tea making facilities which is the norm in Italian hotels so that was disappointment. Make sure you book a room with a balcony to enjoy the whole experience. We didn't use the beach as it was expensive, crowded decks, and looked uninviting. Hotel needs a pool but there are some up market discreet sun loungers so could chill out. Breakfast was amazing. I have food intolerances and they were brilliant to support that. Staff were very helpful. Parking is tight but they do have a lock up and when we used it car was full of ants and very dusty. I would visit there again and certainly recommend it. Walk into Sorrento is quick, don't bother with Naples, Capri trip was good, Amalfi drive was terrifying for me, loved Ravello and some other little villages. Overall an enjoyable stay..

Room Tip: Ask for sea view and a balcony and NOT top floor.

After 5 weeks travelling around Europe Hotel Corallo was our last destination prior to returning back home to Australia. From the minute we arrived to the time we left we felt at home, the service was fabulous especially from Luigi, the vista was unbelievable, food was fabulous and the hotel is extremely well maintained and a delight to stay in.

Good parking arrangements are available closeby and/or transport is basically at the door. A 20 minute walk to the Sorrento Piazza where you will find the train or Bus terminal. During peak I would recommend the bus to the Amalfi and Positano rather than attempting the drive in a hire car, which is not for the faint hearted. Bus fare from Hotel Corallo to Sorrento Piazza is Euro 1.20 and from the station to Amalfi Euro 6.80.

The region is not to be missed and Hotel Corallo is the perfect place to stay!

Room Tip: Deluxe Double overlooking the water and with balcony is superb.

We had our wedding reception in this hotel and I can't recommend it highly enough. The views are breathtaking and the hotel is spotlessly clean.

The staff where amazing as was the food , the whole setting of the hotel made it a perfect end to an amazing day. The value for money we got from having our reception at this hotel was phenomenal I'm still pinching myself now as to how magical the day was all thanks to the wonderful staff at the hotel corallo.

Special thanks to Michele who was on hand all day to ensure the reception run smoothly if I can give anybody thinking about getting married in Sorrento any advise it would be to have the reception at the corallo and use Silvia from Flowers and confetti to organise the weeding as she is amazing.

Unbelievable views and lovely staff, the room so clean and modern for a short walk and €8 per person you can go to a lovely beach almost underneath the hotel. 20 min walk to the centre of Sorrento. Breakfast in the hotel is lovely try to get up early for a balcony table the view is breathtaking. The only negative I can say about the hotel is the bed was hard and uncomfortable.
