In the hills of sant' agnello is this magnificent cluster of villas with swimming pool.....the Owners Lucia and Salvatore treated us like family, did many things for us and we're forever greatful...we are at the last stage of our month's journey and will be very sad to leave.....We will miss the walk into town each day, talking to the local people , buying local produce etc., and of course drinking local vino....This vacation was a dream come true for the both us and always be greatful.....thank you Lucia and Salvatore for being a big part of our dream.....❤️. We would love to return ....

I visited this beautiful villa with my wife, our 1 year old son and my sister in law. The villa is set in a quiet hillside citrus grove above the city of Sant Agnello. It was nice to be away from the downtown area so we could enjoy some privacy and tranquility yet we were only about a 10 minute walk from the main Piazza. We stayed in the 2BR apartment on the 2nd floor. The highlights of the property were our private ocean view patio, the rooftop terrace with 360 views of the sea and mountains and the private pool. On several evenings we brought a pizza from the neighborhood pizzeria (L'Archetto) up to the terrace and enjoyed the spectacular views of the Bay of Naples and the mountains. Lucia (and her husband) were wonderful and welcoming hosts who provided our transfers from the train station and were always available to help when necessary. We would recommend this property to anyone visiting the Sorrento area.

Room Tip: The 2BR apartment has the best views.

We stayed at the Villa Flavia 22 May 2012 to 31 May 2012 and found it simply lovely.
The property is a large villa set in orange and lemon groves with the upper floor of the villa divided into two large spacious apartments with the ground floor the owner’s private residence. There were also two studio apartments in the grounds one of which we had the use of on our last day and they were great and well appointed for two people.
The apartment we had was huge and had one bedroom a bathroom with a bath and a shower cubical and a large living room/kitchen, it had the feel and look of an Old Italian farmhouse. There was a walk around balcony which gave views of the lovely garden and the surrounding area. It also had a small pool set in a nice suntrap.
The apartment was clean and well looked after with all of the facilities you would expect, sheets and towels were changed half way through the week.

The owners were really friendly and helpful and gave us a bottle of home made wine on our arrival which was nice and they really made you feel welcome.

The Villa was about 10 mins walk away from the center and station of Agnello and was a bit of a hike when walking back due to it being up hill but it was a nice walk. If you are buying your own food there are supermarkets in Agnello but we would recomend you use a Taxi as it would be a bit of a push walking carring shopping.
We found that the Taxi's were expensive about 10 euros one way.

There is a Mini market and pizza bar just around the corner from the villa which was very handy and the Pizza was great.

All in all we really enjoyed our stay at the Villa Flavia and would definitely recommend it. A nice quiet location with lovely gardens and the property is gated.
We would give it 10 out of 10.

My husband and I booked 3 days here in May and ended up staying for 4 as we were having such a lovely time. The villa is a little difficult to find and I agree with other reviews that the final approach might put you off a little but once you are at the villa it is absolutely lovely - set in an orange grove and very peaceful. The pool area is so nice and the room/apartments are so spacious and typically Italian. We really enjoyed staying there and making our own meals etc. Lucia and her husband are really helpful and very kind - fresh oranges to squeeze everyday. If you want something more relaxing and authentic this is perfect.

my wife, 1 year old child and i stayed here for 2 weeks. a brilliant villa with nice and helpful owners. we were very dubious to start with as our taxi approached the villa but we soon were in awe at the beauty of our surroundings. the only negatives is the walk to sorrento itself. after several times we decided to use the circumvesuviana train service which is very good, regular and cheap, and there is a lack of bars, cafe's and nice restaurants in the immediate vicinity. we would though happily come back here in the future.

Room Tip: villa B was fantastic!

We have spent a week at the beautiful Villa Flavia, which is situated on a hill above S.Agnello. We rented both apartments in the smaller house, because we got visit by our daughter who lives in Rome. The house you live in is situated in a beautiful plantation of orange and lemon trees and it is absolutely quiet and peaceful and there is a stanning view down to the bay of Naples and the Vesuvius. The apartments are very well maintained and there is absolutely everything you need, even an electric orange press, toaster, dishwashing detergent, etc. On your own terrace you’ll find not just a table and chairs, but also deck chairs, gas(?) barbecue which we did not use. The apartment has air condition which we occasionally used for heating in the evening hours. The pool in the garden looks nice but was not yet in use this time of the year. The owners are the nicest people you can imagine, they offered us fresh oranges, lemons, their own wine and the famous limocello. They were always helpful if we had any questions. Sant Agnello is well situated for trips to Sorrento (10 minute walk to railway station), it only takes 30 minute by train to Pompei. In the village you can do your shopping and there are several bars and restaurants. For us Villa Flavia was an ideal quiet place to stay for a good price, from there we explored the busy famous coast of Amalfi, Capri, Pompei and Naples. We would like to come back again to this peaceful oasis.

We have just got back home after spending a week at this beautiful villa. We had the upstairs apartment in the main building that slept 6. We were in the area for my Daughters Wedding in Sorrento. From the minute we arrived we were made to feel very welcome by the owners. The apartment was very well equiped with stunning views of the bay of Naples and Vesuvius. The sunsets from the apartment roof terrace were stunning. The villa is situated at the top of a rather steep hill, which can be quite difficult in the hot weather, especially when carrying shopping. We found though that as the week went on the hill became easier as we got used to it.The pool is lovely and very well maintained, with sun beds and tables. Each villa also has its own gas bbq which we used and was great.Sant Agnello is well situated for trips to Sorrento (10 minute walk to railway station, and only 2 minutes on train and also only a 30 minute train journey to Pompeii). Sant Agnello has everything you need, good supermarkets, banks, general stores etc. We discovered the 'Blue Bar' on our last night there. Excellent food at good prices. We would not hesitate to visit this area again and if we did we would certainly stay again at Villa Flavia.
