We wandered around looking for somewhere to eat on a windy weeknight at the end of peak season and selected Cru 14 because a) it was open b) it was pretty well patronised.
We sat outside, which was fairly well protected by the curtained walls, but was a bit smelly due to a long table of smokers next to us (the smoke had no where to go, I guess).
The waitress was excellent, with pretty good English, which helped us a lot. She was welcoming, friendly and attentive. We had just had 2 months of nothing but Italian foods, so I had a burger and my girlfriend ordered a pasta. The burger was decent, but not really in Australian/American style. The pasta was unfortunately almost too salty to eat. We had a nice house white which was very pleasant. We thought it was reasonably priced, but the meal could have been better.
