“The perfect place to relax and have fun with the whole family in winter and summer”
Reviewed 22 July 2014

We have enjoyed our skiing and summer holidays in Biancaneve and was great. The staff is really kind, the restaurant was amazing and all the hotel is completely "family oriented".
The location is perfect to enjoy ski (directly in the slopes, where the ski monitors pick the children to take them to the courses) and to start the summer excursions with lot of them offered by the hotel´s miniclub staff.
Hopefully we´ll repeat!

Located off the slopes where many of the ski schools operate; simply step outside the ski room, up a flight of stairs and you're a few meters from the bunny slopes. Our ski instructors met us outside the ski room which was very convenient for our kids in the morning. Ski rentals, ski passes can be obtained inside the hotel, they even deliver your skis it to your locker!

Room 102 was newly renovated, clean, modern, cozy and spacious. It also opened to a large shared patio where my kids loved playing. Only down side were the pillows which were flat and hard. However, they do provide softer pillows upon request.

Breakfast is very simple but you won't have much time anyhow. Dinner is selected the night before and in my opinion; looked better than it tasted. Elegantly presented and served but everything lacked flavor and intensity.

The mini club was a real disappointment, my kids (5,6), went there reluctantly. Walking into the mini club was depressing; bad odor lingers at the door, followed by a dingy, dark, depressing playroom with tiny windows, it gets better in the art room but it didn't feel like a happy place to be. However, there are daily outdoor activities so the actual time spent inside is not long. And, the staff at the mini club were very nice and engaging.

The mini club organizes swim time for the kids every afternoon; BEWARE, you need ear plugs!!!! to go inside the pool room where the screeches of 10-15 frenzied kids are amplified in a smallish pool room. Parents are NOT allowed during this time (probably for this very reason) but unfortunately, I had to accompany my 1.5 yo in the pool.

The sauna was ordinary, except for the thematic motifs, you have everything you need inside a no frill sauna.

Upside- you're on the slopes but downside -proximity to city center, on foot about 10-15 mins. Walking back is uphill :)

Overall, it is a well run hotel with great convenience and location for skier. The staff are wonderful and friendly. I would certainly consider staying here again.

- Dolomites are probably one of the best place in the world for skiing. 1200 of very long and broad slopes make it much better than any other famous resort
- Hotel has a perfect position: ski in, ski out, 20m from the ski school meeting point and lift that leads to the Ciampinoi; that's perfect for those who have kids, especially smaller ones. Absolutely no need to suffer around with the skis on your back and it is very easy to leave the hotel and come back
- Ski rental in the hotel helps a lot
- Great infrastructure for kids. Good kids club with lots of activities, the staff will help the kids for lunch, dinner, in and out of the ski school. Dedicated restaurant to the kids; warm pool for kids.
- Spacious, clean and modern rooms
- Very friendly staff, owners always on top of everything, accommodating anything you might need

I stayed there with my family last summer and It was great. All the details were just perfect, from the delicious food to the attention of the staff with us was very welcoming warming. Also was even better considering all the activities they offer for kids, during a week, they had all kids of shows and presentations, my kids were having a blast. Also needs to mention the great spa, which i personally enjoy some treatments.
High recommended to the entire family! Enjoy!

We stayed with four brothers (22 - 29 years old) at this amazing hotel. It is the perfect starting point for full days of active snowboarding. Ideally positioned along the slopes in one of the most beautiful skiing resorts of the world. After a long day of snowboarding, there is nothing better than arriving in a warm and relaxed atmosphere. Everything at this hotel is taken care of: comfortable rooms (which are cleaned every day), great food and the best facilities. Especially the spa is amazing: the best spot to recover from a heavy day of snowboarding! With a great staff this hotel really offers everything you need for an awesome ski-trip!!

We love the location and convience of this hotel for our family with 2 small kids. It was absolutely relaxing to have the kids club in the hotel. They picked up our kids right after the kids' ski school while we enjoyed more skiing on the slope. The best part of the kids' service is the hours. It is open from 9 am to 10 pm. Our kids don't speak Italian. When we went, the staff in the kids club were not able to speak good German or English. But nevertheless they took very good care of our boys and the boys had a lot of fun. If you have an Italian speaking kid, I bet he/she will have a lot of fun. The spa is great. But the pool is a real disappointment. My 5 year olds was complaining it was boring to be in that pool. In fact it is only good for very small kids. The restaurant tries very hard to be sophisticated and high end. Unfortunately they need to look for a chef with more talent because the food is just ok. The service is great and the hotel owners really care. The rooms are comfortable and modern. We had a very relaxing and fun stay and even met other nice families.

The comfort you need to fully enjoy ski-holidays with small children:

- On the slopes - 20m away from the ski-school meeting point - no need to have children walking around with boots and skis; easy access to the nice slopes for the adults as well - great slopes if you plan to stay 2h away or the whole day away - Cir and Dantercepies just minutes away. And the slopes for kids are much better than in any other ski resort I have been to
- Really active kids club - the size of the room is quite good, normally with lots of children and the monitors are really proactive. They help dress the kid for the ski lesson, for the swimming pool, they will pick them up from the ski-school, will take them to lunch or dinner. Kids can have their meals with other kids or with mom and dad
- Really cute kids restaurant with small chairs and tables
- New, modern rooms that are very functional
- They will arrange the ski pass for you, ski rental and possibly ski lessons
- Equipment pick up at the end of the season
- Tasty food
- Local spa and gym (I did not try them)
- Nice treats such as family photos, characters walking around, etc
