“Perfect as Ski or Snowboard base”
Reviewed 2 February 2014

I've stayed at Garni Crepaz several times during the winter season, and for me it is the best place to be.
It's on walking distance to all lifts of Selva, shops are close by and last but not least: the rooms are very clean, authentic and the bathrooms are modern.
Breakfast is every morning a feast. Eggs in any style you want, bread, toast, cheese, meat, sweets for on the bread and yoghurts in many varieties.
I certainly would recommend this place for people that are looking for a Bed & Breakfast with a great personal touch by the hostess Raffaela.
The only downside is that there are no single rooms available, so make sure you stay with an even number of people, and you will have a great time.

We topped off our tour of Italy with 5 days in the Dolomites. This B&B is hands down the best we've every stayed in. We were here 2 years ago and this time planned out trip around our return to Garni Crepaz. Run by the delightful multilingual Raffaela with the assistance of her mother Maria every need you have is met from breakfast-including fresh eggs, transportation needs, local reccomendations for dinning and information on hiking, biking, skiing. The Val Gardena is beautiful year round and the Garni Crepaz is the place to stay!

We spent a lovely 5 nights at Garni Crepaz. Raffaella was a delightful and generous hostess. Breakfasts were very good . Accommodation clean and well maintained. Selva was a perfect venue for the walking, climbing and riding we were keen to do in the Dolomites.

This was our second stay at Garni Crepaz and we will continue to stay there whenever we go to Selva for a ski holiday in Val Gardena. The garni is very nice and clean and our host, mrs Crepaz, is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffé couldn't be better. The rooms are very nice furnished and we had a large balcony with a view towards the mountains.

From the garni there is a five minute walk to the Ciampinoi gondola, which takes you to an excellent starting point for the skiing adventure of the Dolomites, including the famous Sella Ronda.

In the neighborhood ther are some very good restaurants and bars. On the other side of the road is a nice café, Mozart, which I can recommend, for the service, the friendly staff and nice cakes.

I stayed at Garni Crepaz for 5 nights in June 2013 with a friend. Raffaela was a very gracious host. She sent us information ahead of time that made the train/bus connection very easy. Garni Crepaz is in a very convenient location close to the tourist information office. Bus transportation is close by. The room was very good, with a view of the hills and mountains beyond. The bathroom was also good and very clean. I can't begin to say enough good things about the breakfast. Raffaela makes you feel at home and provides all sorts of options for breakfast.

We had a really enjoyable 1 week stay at Garni Crepaz for our ski holiday. The rooms were simple, though en-suite and clean, breakfast was filling and free wifi was provided. The location is central (5 mins walk to the Ciampinoi gondola) which is fine if you do not insist on having ski in ski out. Even though we went in high season, the price was very reasonable.

The thing that really sets Garni Crepaz apart from all the B&Bs we've experienced before is the host Raffeala. She was a gracious host with a beautiful smile and went out of her way to make her guests feel at home. The service we received was above and beyond anything that you would receive even at a top 5 star hotel, and the most amazing thing is that she is so genuine, you can tell she really loves to take care of people. She also speaks fluent English, which is a great help.

We'd stay here again next time in Val Gardena and would definitely recommend Garni Crepaz to our friends.

Hi,

We stayed at Garni Crepaz this winter. I have only good words about everything. The location of the garni is close to Ciampinoi cable car ( 3-4 minutes on foot). The room was spacious and very clean. Our host, Raffaela Crepaz was very nice and helped us with advise and also offer to prepare the breakfast at departure before the usual hour(we had to leave early in the morning).
Overall a perfect holiday and we hope to return to Garni Crepaz.

Andreea P.

Room Tip: The triple room was excellent.View to the parking and also we can see the cable car and the slopes
