Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A week in this lovely BB exceeded all our expectations. We had a large modern double room with the usual alpine style large double bed. It had space for a table and settee, and there was a modern ensuite and balcony. Very comfortable and quiet with generous breakfasts and attentive service from Helmut the proprietor. Loads of extras such as free wifi, a fruit bowl, bottled water; even chocolates. A prefect ski location with nursery slopes within a few metres. And very good value for money. A wonderful find!

Marvelous host Helmut welcomed us warmly and helped carry our bags to the rooms. Breakfast was great with fresh rolls, fruit juice, eggs, etc. Helmut also provided some great tips for dinner nearby and ski tours which we would otherwise not have found. The location is great - right next to the slope and just a few hundred meters from the Sella Ronda. Private parking right next to the building. And 5-10 mins walk from all the restaurants in Selva.

I stayed here on a weeks skiing holiday on my own in a single room on the ground floor, as my friends were all staying elsewhere in Selva and I was a bit last minute booking it all.

Helmut and his sister were extremely hospitable, warm and welcoming - and were very patient and helpful when I thought I had lost my credit card.

The room was spot on, warm, comfortable and spotless and I slept very well all week. Helmut made me an omelette every morning and breakfast was fresh, varied and tasty.

Overall, this was a great choice and I wouldn't think twice about returning next year if we go back to Selva.

Thank you :)

Great quiet location next to running stream with amazing mountain views. Friendly helpful staff. Great breakfast. Short walk to hikes, buses, restaurants and shops. Idyllic. Place to park, but could stay here easily without a car and just use buses.

Great place, fantastic value for money. Helmut and Marta are wonderful hosts. Ski in/out via the Nives nursery slope. I loved sitting on the balcony with a beer taking in the wonderful scenery and watch the piste groomer do their stuff at night. Good breakfast, Helmut will always offer you an omlette, bf also has some cakes and pastries, just for the extra calories...highly recommended! And the Sella Ronda ski area is just epic!

WELCOMED BY Helmut with Grappa, the room was very clean and warm. Efficient shower. Breakfasts had a variety of ever-changing buns and local delicacies and every one of their recommendations for restaurants was spot on. Boot room was good with ski storage and electric boot heaters. Ski in and ski out for the Nive poma and a few minutes from centre of town. Nicely quirky and individual.

Room Tip: Upstairs is definitely best as kitchen could be noisy. Our balcony faced north west so perfect...

My friends and I spent at week skiing in Selva while staying at Garni Bondi. Overall it was a wonderful experience and a good value, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend this bed & breakfast.

Location - ski-in/ski-out, right by the Nives lift, which services the bunny slopes. Nives leads to a different drag lift, which takes you straight to Sella Ronda (counterclockwise direction) or to the Dantercepies gongola, from where you can take Sella Ronda in the clockwise direction. The bus station is probably 5-7 minutes away, and the center of town with all the bars and restaurant is also a 5 minute walk away.

Rooms- we had a double room and a single room. The double room was quite nice, large and with a lovely balcony overlooking the slopes. The bathroom was very modern. The room included a teapot, so you could make your own tea when needed, complimentary fruits and water, all of which was very much appreciated. The single room was on the small side, but adequate, with all the necessary amenities. There was also a ski room to store your equipment, with heated racks for the boots, very convenient.

Breakfast- really great breakfast, including tea/coffee, a large variety of really delicious pastries and breads, cheeses and meets, eggs (scrambled or boiled), fruits, cereals and yogurt. It is served in a cozy dining room.

Hospitality- Helmut and his sister Marta were very nice and certainly made us feel welcomed. They offered to pick us up (and drop us off) at the bus station, if needed; they remembered to bring the extra water for our tea at breakfast (we drink a lot of tea :)), Marta gave us recommendations on where to ski, etc.

In short, we had a great time at Garbi Bondi and Selva. Thank you, Marta and Helmut!

The owners welcomed us like relatives. We had a large specious room with the view on the mountains. 10 meters from lift Nives makes the best value for money. Wi-fi is sometimes a bit slow and can be cold at night. But the clean room, warm bed and teapot covers it all...We ll come back here next year for sure.
