We were given a gift of afternoon tea at Riverside Cottage and had the most delightful afternoon. We were served sandwiches, cakes and scones while sitting under an arbour in the garden on a beautiful sunny August afternoon. Our host was polite and welcoming and made us feel very relaxed. I recommend Riverside Cottage for a peaceful afternoon tea while enjoying an English garden.

Charles gave us a lovely welcome to his home, we had a beautiful room, in a lovely setting super garden, excellent breakfast. Charles recommended the Veggie Pub down the road, and we had a delicious meal, very very tasty, even though my husband likes his meat, he agreed it was excellent. We had a very good breakfast, Thank you Charles and we wish we could have stayed longer. Jenny and Colin Somerset

Lovely location. Comfortable. The owner was very friendly + welcoming. Would definitely stay again. Lovely pub recommend by the owner which we ate in. A good base for our couple of days out. Breakfast was lovely. Our room was very comfortable and clean. Excellent all round.

Friendly but unobtrusive owners who were very happy to share their knowledge of the local area if you required it- which we did! Great, self contained flat, ideal for families with plenty of space for the four of us to relax. This was all made ready for our arrival, which was just what was required after a long journey. There is also accommodation for single travellers or couples which is also very comfortable indeed.
Lovely breakfasts. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you

We recently stayed at the cottage with our 3 children and the cottage itself was lovely and in lovely surroundings it needed a good clean! The kitchen was dusty and mouldy around the windows and the oven and microwave were very dirty and the sponge left for washing up were very old and disgusting so much so I could;NT bear to touch it to bin it! The bathroom had a leak around the toilet and the towels were abit grubby and only 3 were left and there was 5 of us for a weekend! The bedding was spotless and the breakfast was superb just abit more than one sausage and one slice of bacon would of been nice and there was only 2 slices of toast between 5 of us!!
The pool was exclusive to us which was brilliant and that was very clean and very warm and really big, getting to it was not too good as grass very overgrown and needed cutting and abit of a tidy up everywhere was needed.
Also when you drive out of the cottage you take your life in your hands as it is a blind spot on a road where cars go very fast on and you cannot see anything!

We would stay there again but only because of the pool.

It was 75 pound a night including breakfast which was ok.
