This restaurant is just off the Piazza del Mercato in Spoleto near the Arco di Druso…so you have no excuse that you couldn't find this gem of a restaurant.
The staff were friendly, attentive and obviously care about what they do. An elderly Italian lady, who we think also did some of the cooking, kept us amused for some time as she spoke in Italian and pointed places out to us on the large map adorning the wall next to our table.
If she did do some of the cooking, then she is very very good at it.
Truffles, mushrooms and pork, and, mixed salad with spelt were two delicious starters, followed by pasta and wild boar.
An exciting dessert - creme Catalan flambe.
A delicious meal with wine, mineral water and espresso - €65 (inc cover charge of €4)
Do try this restaurant if in Spoloeto.
