Walk over the Ponte dell Torri and you are on your way on the Giro del Condotti. The beginning of the walk is uphill but soon levels out and you are rewarded with beautiful views. The descent back down into Spoleto could be a bit tricky for some - loose stones and gravel.
If you are feeling really fit and adventurous why not leave the Giro and follow the marked path up (and up and up) to Monteluco. Be warned it is up hill all the way and the path is loose gravel, stones and boulders but you do have a sense of achievement when you reach Monteluco. You can reward yourself with a cold beer, a coffee or mineral water in the Hotel Ferretti. On the bright side it takes less time to go back down than it does to climb up!
