This is a Roman archway across the road at the end of Piazza del Mercato. It's interesting because of its age although once you've seen it and photographed it, there's not much more to do. The locals regard it as a challenge since it will just take a 1 tonne van driven at Italian speed - making it all the more surprising that the arch has lasted so long!
