We stayed a week in a lovely self catering apartment, which was more like having your own old retired farm building to yourself. All the rooms were spacious and well appointed. Our apartment had a small kitchen which we knew beforehand, but was fine as we were not going to do any ambitious cooking, just breakfasts. But they were poorly equipped for self catering, and in early July last year we gathered that they had not had much experience of self catering guests. There was no sharp knife or tea towels and an inadequate coffee pot for two and we had to keep on asking for things. But the farm resort is so beautifully restored, the pool area so lovely, that these small things did not spoil our holiday. You do have to use a car to get to any restaurant. We did a tour of the olive oil small factory which was very interesting.
