“Piece of Heaven”
Reviewed 18 July 2015 for a stay in July 2015

After a week of touring Tuscany, our party of 4 arrived at Torre di Falcon hot, weary & ready to collapse (temps in San Gimignano were 36+ in the shade!)
We spied the swimming pool as we pulled into the car park and then on getting out of the car the views hit us! Rolling Umbrian hillsides, forests of deep green, the gardens of the property itself - roses in full bloom everywhere, grape vines over the pergolas, fresh herbs growing in abundance, tomatoes, peppers, limes, olives! Talk about a help yourself picnic in the making! So hard to describe & even photos don't do it justice!
Beatrice greeted us & showed us to The Falconer which is at the far end of the property. As we walked inside, the coolness of the room was welcome and we were all struck by how beautiful the apartment is! Typical Italian style but with added photos/pictures to make it more homely. It was definitely more 'home' than just a holiday accommodation!
The two ensuite bathrooms are beautiful and our double four poster bed was gorgeous!
Beatrice was available throughout our stay & nothing was too much trouble - we needed ice trays & cork screw which were immediately found. She also allowed us to invite our local family & friends over for a BBQ party one night where we played live music until 11pm. It just felt as if we were at home (but warmer & far more relaxing!)
Every morning eating breakfast on our private patio area we marvelled at the fantastic views & watched a falcon swooping the sky. The resident ponies Matilda & Margerite visited often, as did the cats & it was just so lovely!
There is nothing I can write that will really do this property justice - you just have to go there & experience it for yourself! We will definitely go back despite the option to stay with family - after all, it may be the only Heaven I'll ever see!
Thank you Beatrice!

“Unbelievably beautiful”
Reviewed 23 September 2014 for a stay in September 2014

My wife and I have been traveling to Italy since 1996. We were married in Spoleto in 2004, so we have strongly formed opinions. The Falconer is the best place that we have ever stayed in during our many visits to Italy, from Lago Maggiore in the north to Leuca in the south and Sicily. This property is absolutely stunning.

“Stunning”
Reviewed 22 September 2014 for a stay in July 2014

Torre del Falco is even more beautiful than the photos. We stayed in the Falconer for one week, it is a beautiful property which has clearly been thoughtfully furnished and decorated to a very high and luxurious standard, we loved the private garden which has stunning views across the vally. The grounds are perfectly manicured, beautiful scented flowers and lots of jasmine, the pool was a delight with various seating and sun-loungers. Beatrice was very welcoming and helpful during our stay and we will definitely be returning. If you're thinking of booking this, don't hesitate, it's fabulous.
