This was one of the nicest hotels. The manager was very friendly and helpful. When you go to turn into the road...it does not look like a road. you drive around the "fort" and you see no hotel. You have to walk into the center to find the check in area. Then from there they walk you to your room. You can then park your car closer to the rooms you are in. He graciously carried our bags to our room for us. Our room had steps to get into it but when he opened the door the room was decorated so pretty and the tile is beautiful. I would love to come here in the summer when you can really enjoy the area. We enjoyed walking around the "fort" and we always felt safe. Breakfast in the morning was simple and very nice. Would definitely stay here again.

We had an idea of what to expect from a hotel which scattered its rooms around the village houses of an old town and we looked forward to the novelty of it. On arrival, there was a pleasant young man on reception duty but he was totally unhelpful about parking except to tell us what we were not allowed to do. After a long journey in the heat and arriving in a traffic-blocked town, where absolutely no spaces were available, this was unnecessarily stressful and meant several walking trips to and from the car. There had been no instructions about finding the hotel or the reception and we were kept waiting quite some time for our keys. However, we were exceptionally lucky to be given a room in a house on the walls, overlooking a stupendous view of beach, coastline and hills. It was delightful, characterful and clean with hairdryer, fridge, TV and air conditioning as well as a good bathroom. Nevertheless, the description of " deluxe" relied on its views. That first night, we became aware of the fact that the two wall lights with dimmer switches were impossible to fully extinguish. For an insomniac like me, this was a problem and I reported it diplomatically the next morning at breakfast but it was ignored for our entire visit. The other disadvantage was that only one half of the doors to the balcony would open so that it was impossible to get a table or chairs ( had there been two!) onto it to enjoy the evening view with a game of cards or a drink. This too was discussed at breakfast but duly ignored. Breakfast, on the other hand, was great, with savoury panini, yoghurt, croissants, juice, coffee and lovely pastries.
Termoli is a great town; split into the new, fashionable part with good shops and restaurants as well as picturesque squares; and the old, walled town on the sea, with its narrow, cobbled streets, arty shops and wide walkway around the walls. The beach is a long, sandy, bay divided into serried ranks of umbrellas and sun loungers belonging to upmarket cafes and a public section which is left natural but swept clean every day. We were also easily able to locate and book the ferry for the Tremiti islands and explore them in a day. It's well worth a visit.

Room Tip: Houses on the sea front are more airy and have lovely views; houses in the town will feel hotter but...

We enjoyed staying here for one night on our way from Rome to Puglia. It is a residenza diffusa, which means that the rooms are scattered about the old town. We loved it and we loved Termoli. Picturesque and interesting with great restaurants and a fabulous beach. The managers were charming and helpful, especially about finding a place to park our car for the night, we the residenza itself is located with an area pedonale. We could walk every from here.

Room Tip: The room above the bar had a beautiful view but there was a party until about 4AM so be prepared for...

We stayed for one night in this hotel, passing through on our way to Puglia.
The concept of the hotel is original, each room is situated on a different location within the old city of Termoli, all in walking distance of the main building (where you check in and take breakfast).
We (2 adults/2 children) stayed in a 'triple room', with baby cot.We payed 129€ for this room, including breakfast.I do have to say that the breakfast doesn't represent much. You have the choice from a couple of pre-made sandwiches (salami or cheese), yoghurt and biscuits with cheese spread.
The nr of seats in the breakfast room is also limited, there were several guests which had to stand up and wait their turn until a chair became available. My advice is to take early breakfast if you want to avoid this.
Our room was nice, the high ceiling and personal decoration gave it an original look and feel. The room had a flatscreen tv, mini bar (free water) and airco unit.
The bathroom had a nice shower with window from which you could see into the bedroom.Room and bathroom were clean.
From the hotel, it's a 10 min walk to the beach, where you get a free umbrella + 2 seats for free if you stay in the hotel.I found this a nice advantage, especcially since the beach has a trendy bar with cosy seats.
At night, the old city of Termoli comes alive, you'll find a lot of cosy little restaurants and osteria's serving fresh seafood.
Do take into account that you cannot enter the old city by car (or only to unload luggage, but streets are VERY narrow), but there is a public parking near the harbor.
Staff of residenza Sveva was also very friendly and helpful (not everyone speaks English but we managed to explain ourselves)
We really enjoyed our stay in Termoli, we had an authentic experience and I would certainly stay again in Residenza Sveva.

Great location and view. Very clean rooms nicely decorated, maybe a bit small. It's really hard to reach since it's located in the pedestrian area. No parking available. If you don't mind a sketchy customer service and a rude employee/manager/owner, this place is a great choice.

I booked this place upon my arrival in Termoli. I was passing through on my way to see my family a little further inland. Termoli is a fantastic seaside town... and Residenza Sveva offer fantastic vacation rentals in Termoli.

I stayed in a room in the borgo vechhio (pardn the spelling) which is an old part of the town within the walls and on a cliff overlooking the sea and beach line. They offer vacation rentals throughout the immediate area so you may be staying in an apartment around the corner if that's what you require. I just needed a small room as I was traveling alone.

The staff were pleasant and helpful. The rooms were extremely well kept, comfortable bed and all seemed brand new! They have a beautiful breakfast room.

I felt like I hit the jackpot when I found this place... excellent value!
