We initially had some difficulty finding the old town square by car but eventually succeeded and parked outside a cafe / bar with Residenza Sveva on the wall outside . Thank goodness ! However, we were in the wrong place but some local boys helped us and led us to the hotel reception. We were met by Michele who was most pleasant and checked us in and led us to our room, which coincidentally was exactly where we had parked our car . The hotel has rooms scattered around the old town and ours was above the afore mentioned bar which at first caused some concern but was unfounded as the bar was quiet and caused no issues. Michele took our bags upstairs to our room and then jumped in the car and guided us to parking in the port where free spaces are provided. Our room was large with lots of character and overlooked the full length of the beach . Beautiful !
Breakfast is served in the main building and is plentiful and varied and typical continental style. We were served by Lori who is excellent and very helpful in every respect . She is Canadian so speaks perfect English and can help with any translations required . The other member of staff was Paulo who was also very pleasant and helpful.
Michele suggested places to visit i.e. Vasto , Sepino, , Agnone , Pietrabbondante , Larino and Casacalenda . I can recommend visiting them all as they are steeped in history and archeological interest and we loved them.
The best restaurants we experienced were Don Giovanni ( steak ) and L'Opera fish and I would be most suprised if you were disappointed by either.

Room Tip: Depends what is required sea view or in the Cathedral square.

We stayed at this B and B for one night and were pleasantly surprised. It is located in the Piazza Duomo square, perfect spot for a quiet, romantic experience. The room we stayed in felt like a cave - very quiet and clean. The brick ceiling imaginative to the earlier times. Paolo was helpful to get our internet connected and professional to deal with. In the evening we walked the beach and watched the sunset over the sea. Picturesque Termoli is a place I will always remember and hope to return to someday.

My husband and I stayed at Residenza Sveva in May 2014. We had 3 days exploring the old fort and town centre of Termoli. We were there before the season began, so really enjoyed that we were almost the only tourists in town and we enjoyed some beautiful meals in the local restaurants. Our accommodation had a wonderful outlook with views from our balcony of the lovely beach that stretched for miles along the Adriatic coastline with the snow covered mountains as a backdrop. Our host, Michael was very friendly and most helpful and so was Lori our host at breakfast each morning. The room was not large but it was clean and nicely decorated and quite adequate for our needs, and the location and views made up for any lack of space. We would definitely recommend this quirky hotel.

This was one of the nicest hotels. The manager was very friendly and helpful. When you go to turn into the road...it does not look like a road. you drive around the "fort" and you see no hotel. You have to walk into the center to find the check in area. Then from there they walk you to your room. You can then park your car closer to the rooms you are in. He graciously carried our bags to our room for us. Our room had steps to get into it but when he opened the door the room was decorated so pretty and the tile is beautiful. I would love to come here in the summer when you can really enjoy the area. We enjoyed walking around the "fort" and we always felt safe. Breakfast in the morning was simple and very nice. Would definitely stay here again.

We had an idea of what to expect from a hotel which scattered its rooms around the village houses of an old town and we looked forward to the novelty of it. On arrival, there was a pleasant young man on reception duty but he was totally unhelpful about parking except to tell us what we were not allowed to do. After a long journey in the heat and arriving in a traffic-blocked town, where absolutely no spaces were available, this was unnecessarily stressful and meant several walking trips to and from the car. There had been no instructions about finding the hotel or the reception and we were kept waiting quite some time for our keys. However, we were exceptionally lucky to be given a room in a house on the walls, overlooking a stupendous view of beach, coastline and hills. It was delightful, characterful and clean with hairdryer, fridge, TV and air conditioning as well as a good bathroom. Nevertheless, the description of " deluxe" relied on its views. That first night, we became aware of the fact that the two wall lights with dimmer switches were impossible to fully extinguish. For an insomniac like me, this was a problem and I reported it diplomatically the next morning at breakfast but it was ignored for our entire visit. The other disadvantage was that only one half of the doors to the balcony would open so that it was impossible to get a table or chairs ( had there been two!) onto it to enjoy the evening view with a game of cards or a drink. This too was discussed at breakfast but duly ignored. Breakfast, on the other hand, was great, with savoury panini, yoghurt, croissants, juice, coffee and lovely pastries.
Termoli is a great town; split into the new, fashionable part with good shops and restaurants as well as picturesque squares; and the old, walled town on the sea, with its narrow, cobbled streets, arty shops and wide walkway around the walls. The beach is a long, sandy, bay divided into serried ranks of umbrellas and sun loungers belonging to upmarket cafes and a public section which is left natural but swept clean every day. We were also easily able to locate and book the ferry for the Tremiti islands and explore them in a day. It's well worth a visit.

Room Tip: Houses on the sea front are more airy and have lovely views; houses in the town will feel hotter but...

We enjoyed staying here for one night on our way from Rome to Puglia. It is a residenza diffusa, which means that the rooms are scattered about the old town. We loved it and we loved Termoli. Picturesque and interesting with great restaurants and a fabulous beach. The managers were charming and helpful, especially about finding a place to park our car for the night, we the residenza itself is located with an area pedonale. We could walk every from here.

Room Tip: The room above the bar had a beautiful view but there was a party until about 4AM so be prepared for...
