We had a great week in the Castello Izzalini. It is in a quiet village surrounded by rolling hills with beautiful landscaping. Many historical towns are within one hour driving. We visited a few of them, Todi, Orvieto, Civita and Civitella del Lago, and enjoyed very much. We also made a day trip to Florence with two hours drive each way. It was a bit long drive, but doable.
The units are in a renovated castle with modern layout inside. Our unit was on the second floor (the third floor as North American standard) with great sunny views. The one-bed room unit is spacious, roughly 800 square feet with large living room and bedroom. It has a well equipped kitchen, a well sized bathroom, and even a dressing room or walk-in closet depending how you call it.
Sara, the onsite manager, was very helpful. She provided us much useful information about the nearby area.
The only drawback was the internet, which was only available in the club house and slow.
Overall, we were very happy to choose this resort. It was one of the best RCI resorts we visited.More
