We were a party of over 30 people to celebrate my 50th birthday in the area, where the majority of the group stayed at Fabiola the fabulous owner’s nice B&B! We filled the whole place for a few days! All of us were equally impressed by the service of this small, cosy place with spectacular views!
You need good directions to find it, you cannot walk to any nearby place but once you’ve had the opportunity to taste her kitchen, you really dont need to move anywhere... The breakfast is served on the terrace, generous & delicious. Fabiola’s team cooked both lunches and dinners for us - biggest meal we had a lunch for 28 people - very tasty!! Mmm, simple pasta cooked with a big heart always taste good!! Her truffle fettuccini is out of this world!!
Some rooms had individual fridge, some not. Relatively big beautiful pool on the property with comfortable sunbeds and cabanas.
She arranged a delicious cake for me on the actual day as well as nice settings. She even ironed the shirt of one guest. She is a warmhearted woman with a very nice property - I can warmly recommend this place to anyone!

Just back from a couple of days in beautiful Umbria and the small place Porchiano. Here I stayed with Swedish friends during 5 days. We were celebrating a 50 years birthday. We couldn't have been at a more cozy place. We arrived to the Bed & Breakfast Residenza Collefiorito and were greeted by Signora Fabiola. Such a wonderful, warm hearted and welcoming woman. This place, built in stone, is typical for this area. We were 3 women sharing a simple, but tasteful, 2 bed rooms, living room with pentry and bath room apartment. The yellow curtains and bed covers made it sunny and bright, real cozy. Breakfast on a big terrace, boiled eggs, freshly baked bread, delicious tomatoes with basil, ham, cheese, all kind of coffee and tea etc. and a view to die for.
A lovely pool with the most comfortable sun beds and cabanas.
If you wished to have lunch or dinner, you just told Signora Fabiola and she fixed it. We had fantastic pasta dishes, good wines and lot's of fresh fruits.
As we celebrated a birthday, Fabiola had had a huge cake baked, decorated the terrace to surprise the birthday child and also had a small gift for the woman. Every little gesture made of love. The birthday dinner itself, we had on the castle terrace about 200 meters away. Here a catering company handled the dinner.
This is a place we all agreed to return to. No complains from any of us. One little detail, difficult with internet connection and all our adapters did not work.

The country road to the place will already introduce you in the "holiday mood". Fabiola and son Claudio will warmly welcome you. The breakfast on the veranda, with the view over the hills, with the old city of Todi in the back ground, will make a good day start. Than, the big swimming pool, or driving to the small old towns in the area (max 1 hour drive), will complete the job...Ask Fabiola to cook you a lunch or a dinner! It pays every cent...
One can jogging in the vicinity, if you like to.

Room tip: Have owners phone nr, in the case you'll need some direction instruction to get there.

We booked a suite which had a lounge and kitchenette. Our rooms overlooked the pool and the countryside. The whole area was tastefully done, spacious and spotless.
It was a charming blend of old style with modern amenities. There was 24 hour hot water, a TV, the laundry was clean, free wifi. Breakfast was sumptuous, though I must admit that if the coffee machine was replaced by freshly brewed, hot coffee it would be much appreciated.
The only problem was that the place is difficult to find even with a navigator and we got lost several times. Signposts would really help make it more accessible to tourists.
We had a wonderful break from the maddening city life and I would recommend it to those who want a relaxing getaway.

Good place to stay in Umbria. The owners are nice. Rooms a bit dark and cold but who stays in the rooms while visiting Umbria. The pool is big and clean and the view just hypnotizing. Breakfasts always the same what might be boring and without veggies like tomatoes or cucumbers. Overall worth visiting and a good location for exploring beautiful Umbria.
