These beautiful botanical gardens are well worth a visit. We came in May and whilst the rhododendrons and azaleas were past their best there were lots of other flowering trees and bushes in bloom. There are lots of beautiful trees and the gardens are beautifully layed out with different flowering beds and lily ponds. There were lots of different birds to be seen and heard. There are lots of places to sit and admire the scenery as it is quite a long walk around the gardens but as there is so much to see you dont notice it. The Villa isn't open to the public but the garden is breath taking! Well worth a visit and good value for the money
