I stayed here with my parents for the first fortnight of June, and found it to be perfect.
We were just after a bereavement, so the fact that the apartment was quiet and away from it all meant a great deal, as did the fact it was large enough for everybody to be able to escape on their own too.
It is a lovely bright and airy space, with lovely high-ceilings and quite a few original features.
The fact that there is a lift up means an awful lot, as it is a town-centre terraced building, and getting our luggage up via the stairs would have been nigh on impossible!
The air conditioning was crucial as our holiday ended and the temperature rose.
The kitchen is perfectly adequate, with the only problem being that the oven wasn't working when we were there.
The location is fantastic, you are just around the corner fom the promenade - with all its bars and restaurants - and the bus station isn't ten minutes walk.
The train station is further away from the seafront, and would be about twenty minutes,
We do not drive on holidays, so the ease of access to public transport was vital for us.
A supermarket is only five minutes away, as are any other similar services you might need.
The apartment has a washing machine, and the terrace is brilliant then for drying!
There is no English-language television channel, but that didn't mean much to us.
The broadband was great.
All in all it is a great spot, Luciana is fantastically friendly and helpful, and the apartment is all you could need - spotlessly clean and more than comfortable!
