“The perfect chillout location”
Reviewed 2 July 2012

We have just returned from a two week touring holiday of Sardinia booked through Just Sardinia (thanks!). Our three night stay at this hotel was our final stop and the perfect end to a fantastic holiday.

The location is stunning and the hotel is very modern and spacious. You have a choice of either the beach or the pool - we prefer the latter and had it pretty much to ourselves all day even though the hotel was quite full.

The food is incredible - buffet style but great choice, variety and quality.

If you want relaxing location with plenty to do, up to the minute facilities, but still an element of Sardinian friendliness and culture this is definitely worth considering.

Room Tip: Rooms facing into the courtyard are quieter and likely to have fewer people passing your terrace.

Great hotel in a good setting.
Could have been perfect if only the service quality wasn't so random. Some staff were incredibly attentive and friendly while others lacked the simple decency to answer your salute.
The reception area which seems to be recently refurbished is very classy. The rooms however seems older and especially the bathrooms could use a bit of refreshing. However, the superior rooms are quite big and the bed very comfortable. There is a problem in the room door's soundproofing. The hallway is very long and has a high ceiling so every little noise gets reverbed and is heard from the room.
The food is very good, the beach restaurant has an excellent setting.
We also tried the spa and it was very good.
I would definitely come back.

I took my husband to the Timi Ama for a birthday treat for a week in May 2012. We had visited the hotel 3 years previously. It is a lovely, clean & incredibly friendly hotel in the most perfect spot with the most idyllic food. The staff are genuinely utterly friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. The beach location is just wonderful, clear sea, white unspoilt sand with a backdrop of a lagoon filled with pink flamingos. The food is utterly beautiful, very fresh, well thought of dishes - never to disappoint. The buffet (which I usually despise) was a plethora of delights after delights, each and every evening. The only slight downside is the rooms are a little dated & the children's play area is pretty tired. But as we didn't have our children with us, this didn't' bother us in the slightest and because the outside area of the hotel is so wonderful, we were rarely in the room, so really barely noticed! The hotel had made a few areas of improvement since our previous visit, the beach restaurant is fabulous and the SPA beautifully re-designed, very contemporary with lovely finishes. If they follow this standard through to the rooms, the hotel would be very near perfect. I would thoroughly, thoroughly recommend this property and will defiantly be returning very very soon.

If the clear sand, clear bright water, dainties and personal attention to you from the staff are your desire - this place is for you. You will surely feel like somewhere in Pacific, but with truly Italian peculiarities.

Room Tip: That hotel has a shape of the cross. It's better to ask rooms oriented to pool (the same are ori...

This is a brillaint location for a relaxing break. The food, staff and facilities are excellent. The evening entertainment was very loud so although a sea view room is great being elsewhere would be quiter.

The place has excellent facilities - massive rooms with balconies, great pool area, big dining area, good meeting rooms, spa services (although I didn't try it). The food that was served everyday was just AMAZING - a lot of variety to choose from and really yummy! Good service from the waiting staff, as well. The beach in the hotel was excellent, and only a short walk from the hotel itself (private path), they have shuttle to take you back and forth.
I was not impressed with some of the staff, we experienced the longest check out ever, and the staff member that first served me, was just rude - initially charged me for my bar bill and then when I asked about my accommodation, gave a big sigh, shouted to his colleague, tutted and walked away without saying anything to me! Another staff by the pool, shouted at one of my friends for walking near the pool with sandy (from the beach) feet. They can be uptight about smallest things.
The hotel is away from the town, however, they provide a free shuttle to Villasimius - but be sure to book it, otherwise they won't give you a lift.
In short, a really good place, with good facilities, but I guess they need to re-train some of their staff in customer service.
