It was amazing, sunny, and the water was so clear you could see deep inside. The clear white sand under ones feet and no crowd. At least not in this season. Perfect getaway for a newly married couple like us

Very large beach with thin sand and perferctly clear and clean water. Not a single stone nore weed nore shell in the water. Just pure magic. The only negative points is the men bothering you often so sell various jewels, bathing suits, caps, etc...

The beach is clean and the water absolutely crystal clear with lifeguards. The beach is well kept with several cafes along its route. It stretches for some distance in a horseshoe bay and is great for a walk to explore.

If you are staying in Villasimius, do not miss this beautiful beach. I'm pretty sure the water was clearer than my bath water!

We took the coach from Cagliari to Villasimius and it took 1.5 hrs (I think it was 6.50 return per person). When we got off at Villasimius (the street is called via Roma) we walked down to the centre. If you are confused where to take the shuttle to the beach from, you will come to a square on via Umberto I. The shuttle runs every hour and it's 2 euros one way. You reach Simius by walking (20 mins) from the here at the square or you can get the shuttle. The shuttle goes to 2 other beaches and then to Porto Giunco.
The sand at Porto Giunco was so soft. The water crystal clear. It was packed with people but we loved it anyway.
