L'Etrusca is located in the middle of Old Town, so I recommend to leave your car at Underground Town Car Park. We had a small communication problem upon arrival - we don't speak Italian and lovely woman at reception desk - no English. But we managed together somehow. Next morning though - warm welcome in perfect English !
The room was large, clean and cosy. Bathroom is clean and tidy, tiled with local taste. You think it needs an upgrade soon but then you realize you like it the way it is. It feels like you're visiting an Italian friend - and not getting a room in a hotel.
As I said, L'Etrusca is in the centre of Volterra, so you have walking distance to many lovely cafes and restaurants.
Overall - lovely, quiet place with friendly, helpful staff. Highly recommended for a peaceful stay.
