My family and I had been in Italy for about a week when we took a trip to Volterra. After spending a nice afternoon exploring the town we were looking for a late bite to eat. We sat outside in a nice picnic table setting with other families. Some local some tourists like us. It was a quite part street that was nice to people watch without being closed in by people. The servers were friendly and attentive. We ordered one pizza to share and three or four starters. Everything we had was very good and after eating at many “tourist” restaurants in Rome and throughout Tuscany this was a nice change. The vegetables, salads and cheese were very fresh and good. To this point in our trip it was a highlight. If back in Voterra I would definitely eat here again.
