“Great for family with 2 year old”
Reviewed 10 January 2014

My family stayed at La Naomath for 3 nights last Christmas as a part of a longer vacation and enjoyed our stay there very much. Our apartment had a nice size living room and a huge bedroom with one queen and two single beds which our little boy turned into a play room. The owners were very friendly and helpful and answered any questions we asked about the area (such as where to do laundry). I read a few reviews previously posted that complained about the breakfasts, but I thought they were very good, with lots of variety. The property is gated and visitors get a remote.

Minor negatives were the couch and the lack of a bathtub. The couch is an outdoor type with cushions added that slide right off when you try to lean against the rear of the couch. The lack of a bathtub is something we're used to but it's still the preferred way for us to wash our little boy.

We stayed just the ONE night. The owners made us very welcome our room had sliding doors that led to a well planted garden where you could sit and relax. It was very clean and spacious. The breakfast was also of an high quality.

We stayed there for one night to visit Bayeux, which is a 15 minute drive. The owner was very friendly and we enjoyed sitting in the lovely garden. Our room, sadly, was rather dark and not very cosy. Also the door had a big glass panel, so we didn't feel like we had a lot of privacy, although there was a curtain in front of it. We were next to the breakfast room, so it was rather loud in the morning. The breakfast, though, was very good and certainly better than your average French assortissement of bread, croissant and coffee.

Our family had a great 6 day stay at La Naomath. The beautiful old Normandy farm house conversion and garden were peaceful and relaxing. We stayed in the family B & B accommodation which was spacious and clean. The breakfasts were high quality and very generous, each day there was a different French dessert e.g. Pear & custard tart in addition to the croissants and charcuterie. Natalie. & Fabrice were excellent hosts. I had bad toothache during the visit. They not only gave me pain killers straight away but booked me an appointment with a dentist and translated what the dentist was saying over the phone during my appointment - nothing was too much trouble! The location was very handy for Bayeux and the Normandy beaches. When you first arrive the three parallel roundabouts can be dis-orientating off the autoroute, just make sure you follow the signs for Damigny not St. Martin des Entrees. We would definitely stay at La Naomath again - it's a little gem!

We stayed here for one night as a stop-over and couldn't have asked for a better place. The hostess was very friendly and helpful and the family room with garden view was ideal for a young family. The gardens were great place for kids to run around and breakfast was delicious.

We stayed in the apartment and it was lovely. This spot is a little difficult to find and if it wasn't for a lovely guide we stopped and asked we might have never found it. She drove us right to the door. Great for a large group the apartment was spotless and spacious. The weather was cool but we were warmly received and enjoyed our stay.

after a 300 mile drive we arrived at 17.20 to find the chambre d'hote closed and when i rang
i was told very huffily that i should not arrive before 18.00
the gardens were beatiful and i understand there are better rooms but our room was tiny with no natural light and a very tiny shower area.
i used to live in france and travel extensively in europe. the french have a lot to learn with
regard to facilities and value for money compared with spain, germany, austria
