“escape to the owl cottage”
Reviewed 19 February 2017 for a stay in February 2017

We stayed there for two nights. It is in a beautyful location. It has a fantastic view to the near valley. We loved it very much and had a relaxing walk.
The cottage has all necessary stuff you need for a self-contained stay.
Our hosts were friendly and professional. Big thanks to them.
We would like to return next year for a longer period.
Truely recommended for everyone. Five stars.

“A relaxing break in a perfect location”
Reviewed 31 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

Owl cottage is a perfect facility for two people (and a dog!) who want a quiet, relaxing holiday in a suberb location. The cottage was equipped with everything we could possibly need, and the owner was very helpful. There are lots of good pubs and restaurants in the locality, and the area is particularly dog friendly. We'll be going back sometime, I'm quite sure!

“Comfortable cottage in a superb location”

We have rented cottages in Pembrokeshire for a number of years, particularly in the St Davids area and in the last few years around Cardigan, and I have to say that this cottage, although this is the first time we have stayed here, will be in the top three of our regularly visited cottages. Our hosts, Sarah and Jim, could not be more accommodating without being intrusive. The cottage, whilst being off the beaten track, is in a superb location and we were fortunate, because of the close proximity of a wooded area, to see some different birds having been visited by a flock of Redwing and a pair of Fieldfare in the adjacent field.

The area has some fabulous locations particularly if one takes the trouble to get off the main roads and venture down some very minor lanes, although Ordnance Survey Explorer maps are almost essential. There is so much of interest in this area.

The weather at the beginning of March was superb, clear blue skies and lots of sun. The area, because of the time of the year, was very quiet and much more pleasant to enjoy due to so few tourist about.

Whilst the cottage is not large, for a couple such as ourselves, it is very cosy and warm, has comfortable furnishings and was extremely clean and fresh on arrival and is almost everything that one could want for a relaxing break.
