Absolutely faultless. The pub is so cosy. The staff were attentive and made us feel very welcome. The food was delicious and the room again was clean and cosy. I would highly recommend the White Horse for a relaxing night away. If not a night away you should definitely go just to try the food. Thank you so much for making our getaway so special. We will definitely be back.

We visited on Sunday as a large group for lunch, and glad we booked in advance, the pub was rather busy.
We were seated promptly in what is a fantastic pub, a real lovely feel to it. The gent who was looking after was indeed one of the Co-owners, a fantastic host and his attentive nature was fantastic. Onto the food, the menu was quite limited in choice, but enough to please most. I was surprised that there wasn't a dedicated children's menu, as the choices on the menu were more of an adult palette. I was surprised how expensive the menu was, and isn't a pub where you can make frequent visits for food, because a roast sets you bath nearly £20!!
The food itself was mostly good, I went for the Turkey roast, with all the trimmings. The meat was tender and well cooked. The potatoes and yorkshire puddings were very dry and tasteless. Everyone who ordered the roast turkey's were missing their stuffing and pigs in blankets, something which was advertised on the menu, which was annoying, however when asked, the host brought over 2 small bowls with 6 pigs in blankets for our group, not too impressed with the lack of pigs in blankets! There was no sight anywhere of the stuffing.
My rating would have been 3, however the service was so good, it pulled it up to a 4. With a bit of improvement, this pub has the ability to be as good as pubs such as the royal oak & the fox goes free.

Dropped in for a Sunday roast as we were camping in the area. Food and hospitality was amazing. If you are in this area give it a try...

We used to be regulars here as it's our local, however a change of management has seen a rise in prices, less choice on the menu, and ridiculously slow service.
The first time we went, it was OK,- we had the half lobster at £20 and it was a reasonable size and very tasty. Service was fine, and we enjoyed the food.
Last time, about three weeks later, we had our daughter with us, and again opted for the half lobster as it had been good. The price had risen to £25, and had shrunk in size to not much bigger than a large prawn. We also had to wait over and hour for our food - lucky we hadn't got to rush off anywhere. We had dessert, Panna Cotta which was very nice, but again the wait from ordering was about 45 minutes.
We've only been in once since, for a drink, and met the new landlord for the first time, who was actually pretty arrogant and rather rude.
Looking forward to the Foresters opening up again in the new year....

Following a lovely walk around Graffham Common (thanks to Sussex Life mag) we stopped in here as recommended for an evening meal.
The place is well presented, clean and tidy and a friendly welcome. Seating is in the Bar or Conservatory which gave us a lovely view of the hills around and the setting Sun.
I am an awkward customer when it comes to food but the staff pulled out the stops and came up trumps with what I wanted completely off menu. My friends (great foodies) chose different meals to try out the chef and both enjoyed them, one having the Hake and the other the Pork. The starter was great too.
There is very little not to like about this place, the only thing that might bug some people is service takes a little time, but the wait is worth it as the food really is excellent.
Worth seeking out as it is a little off the beaten track.
