Woke to a beautiful day so decided to go for lunch at a winery. Moutere Hills is in a lovely secluded spot well away from the highway. Had not been here since the change of owners so was keen to see and taste the changes. Good selection on the menu although I would have liked to see an antipasto selection. Wine list is restricted to their own as one would expect. Ordered the Pinot gris which was pleasant but a little like a chardonnay. My wife ordered cannelloni and I had the stuffed mushrooms. Both were very tasty and with the included sides more than enough for lunch. The french fries were great but I was disappointed to learn that they are available in supermarkets and not home made. Only downside was the length of time from ordering to being served which was 40 minutes. Not sure how they will cope with a big crowd when summer comes around. Still well worth the money.
