“Birthday dinner”
Reviewed 16 June 2014 via mobile

The food was good, but the dining room and the view are spectacular. It's a page out of Architectural Digest. We had drinks on the fabulous pool deck and then sushi inside. The sushi was good. My daughter really liked the crab coconut roll. I had spicy tuna, and it was fine. Really, this spot is about location.

“Beautiful location”
Reviewed 9 June 2014

We had dinner here which was outstanding. We arrived early so took a walk around the grounds which are spectacular. Had to take a few zazzzzz'a in one of the many hammocks scattered around. Very peaceful and tranquil - definitely a place to escape for a long weekend. Villas are beautifully situated and could easily see myself relaxing reading a book and drinking a glass of wine on the patio overlooking the bay. Dinner was excellent - we at rated with sashimi, Olivia had the grouper and I had the mahi maui, both were very tastily. Service was good although knowledge of the menu was a little bit lacking, however the willingness to help overcame this shortcoming.
Definitely worth a trip for a dinner (book prior to arrival) if you are not staying at the Cove.

“good but overpriced”
Reviewed 29 March 2014

We had lunch at The Cove the other day with friends. We had heard that the sushi was good so we tried that. Three of our group of five shared three rolls. It was quite good but really not enough to eat. Each roll is about $20 making it a not inexpensive lunch along with a $15 bloody mary. The view is wonderful of the ocean and the palm trees but is not a place that we would eat at regularly especially since if we want to take a dip in the pool or the ocean there is a $45 half day charge which seems very high to us especially when we have had a not cheap lunch. There is another restaurant not too far away where the prices are similar but they welcome you to use their pool and beach making it a fun day.

“Very good/utensils oddly shaped”
Reviewed 24 March 2014

The food and the service here were really very good. The restaurant faces the ocean, and the view is lovely. The restaurant itself is beautiful (all white), if not a bit too sterile.

The Asian-inspired food was delicious. The lobster teriyaki was sublime. Apart from the super-noisy crowd at the bar, the only weird thing was the utensils. They're really oddly shaped. This seems like a strange comment, but eat there and you'll see. They are all very long and then, but the spoon, for example, doesn't really work with the shape of your mouth. Form over function won out. Very odd.

Definitely worth a trip if you're in the area.
