“The reason for our good life”
Reviewed 27 July 2013

Very moving and touching visit.

The cemetery is very well maintained, an you can spend a lot of time reading all the grave markers...bring tissues.

Make sure you go and honor those who have fallen for us so that we can have what we have today

“Low Key but moving”
Reviewed 19 July 2013

A simple and somber memorial to those who give their lives in the Normandy campaign. Very moving and much less visited that the nearby American cemetery and the British cemetery in town.

“memorable”
Reviewed 9 July 2013

This quiet, well-maintained cemetery with its thousands of graves is awe-inspiring. It is also beautiful, with many varieties of flowers growing on the graves. If you have children old enough to learn about war, take them here. Seeing the graves of so many young Canadians will be a vivid lesson.

“Touching”
Reviewed 7 July 2013

It is always emotional visiting the Commonwealth war graves to see those who gave up their lives both young and old in the pursuit of freedom.

“Moving”
Reviewed 5 July 2013

Visited the Cemetery as part of our Guided D Day Landing Tour, and wow was it moving.. Walking through seeing names of such young men whom gave their lives so far away from home/family/loved ones. The Cemetery is very well kept., dont forget to sign the guest book & take a moment to remember
