My partner and I stayed here for a weekend in April. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful, they arranged a taxi for us on our second evening as we were attending a gig and they also booked us a table for lunch at the nearby Elm Tree Inn (which is also a must! we had 2 meals here and they were both superb). Our room had an enormous Superking sized bed, the little extras of bottled water, biscuits and sweets were a welcome treat too. Breakfast was delicious, we loved the attention to detail of our breakfast table each morning...it's the little things that count. You feel well and truly spoil and looked after at Browns. Location was great for spending a day at Clumber Park and another day at Creswell Crags and the local countryside. We both agreed we would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend. Thank you to Robin and Joan for your hospitality.

Stayed here for two nights but would have stayed for longer if I could. I went on a course to Welbeck College which was only minutes away and the Browns Orchard Cottage proved to be an ideal place to stay. Extremely comfortable rooms and can honestly say I had the best nights sleep for ages. First class breakfast too with a fantastic choice. Joan and Robin run an impeccable establishment with much attention to detail evident.

We stayed one night and our room was beautiful. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners and breakfast was fantastic.
Absolutely no complaints at all!!
We also had lunch at the Elmtree Inn nearby and a lovely morning at Cresswell Crags, both were great, This is a lovely B&B and the location is one we would love to visit again.

Stayed at Browns for just the one night - Joan and robin were wonderfully hospitable and cooked an excellent breakfast. They also gave us a lot of advice regarding our trip to Rufford abbey and even put us in touch with a member of staff there which was really appreciated. Room was comfortable and the setting is beautiful. Would certainly come back as a treat.

My wife booked us two nights at this lovely B&B (from 14/12/12). An excellent room in an excellent setting and such a lovely area. The couple that ran the place had been very helpful to my wife in arranging many details for us, they were full of excellent suggestions about the local area AND they're breakfasts were excellent (especially the Eggs royals and benedict).
This is a very excellent B&B that we would love to return to and hopefully will!

Stayed here 3 nights as it was the nearest to the School of Artisan Food. Breakfast was very good, the room clean and warm and Joan and Robin are very accommodating. There is a lack of WiFi access in the room and a selection of DVDs to use might be an added bonus. But then again it is the kind of place you can send your grandmother and great aunt without fear of reprisal!

Took my partner for a surprise weekend away. Could not have been better. Lovely clean room with four poster bed, fantastic gardens, tame pheasants, plenty of choice at breakfast. Joan and her husband could not do enough for us by booking tables at restaurants putting the lights on in our room whilst we are out. They even provided a hosepipe to wash my Mountain Bike with. A wonderful weekend and will definatly be back

Room Tip: They are all good
