Having enjoyed 5 days in CM we wanted to escape the city and Jasmine Hills offered this and more. Located only 20km from CM resting in the foot of the local hills with great views of Doi Saket temple and large sitting Budha on the hill. The arrival, setting and lodges are perfect. We were greated with a drink and happy smile from all the staff before settling into our lodge tucked away in the corner of the resort over a little brigde on the edge of the large pond. The lodge had everything we needed, large fridge, air con, great bathroom. As this resort is a little out of town there is nothing to do except sit back, relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. We ate at their restaurant most nights and Peter cooks up a great meal including Malaysian Curry.

The pool is lovely, if a little chilly and the staff are attentive but not obtrusive. The lodge offers free bikes to cycle into town which only takes 20mins and handy for picking up supplies.

I wanted to take a cookery course but without the hassle of travelling back into CM, The resort offered a half day course with Peter in the kitchen - one on one course, perfect!

It costs about 400-500baht to travel back into CM (or 16baht on local bus), we would recommend coming to Jasmine Hills when your done with the city and looking for some quiet time (only noise at night comes from the crickets and frogs). A great few days in a very lovely day run by lovely people.

Dolly and Paul are great hosts. Arrived at 8:00 am , after 24 hours of travel and they welcomed us w open arms and a beautiful cottage to rest. We spent 5 days here, enjoyed being out of town, did not mind the extra travel time to the city...our favorite part was bike riding from the cottages thru the countryside. We would highly recommend this property to anyone seeking, a bit of quiet, and a great base. Looking forward to our next stay at Jasmine Hills...

We just stayed four nights in Jasmine Hills Lodge and found it a fantastic experience. A heaven of tranquility, plants, birds, water, and very pleasant and helpful personnel. It is a bit far-off from Chiang Mai itself, but if you come all the way to Thailand why not spend a day (or two) at the swimming pool, in a comfortable lodge with balcony, and have some drinks and snacks, and leave the hustle and bustle behind. Anyway that's what we wanted and we got it! Thanks to Dolly and her staff for providing excellent service!

It was a pleasure to spent our holidays in Jasmine Hills lodge last august 2011,
Charming and quiet property exactly as we are looking for, away from the crowd and noise.
Even though it was raining quiet heavily throughout our stay,
Paul and Dolly the owners together with their staff (Rungthip, Peter and all)
have made our stay "unforgettable"
Would recommend to anyone seeking a quiet, comfortable and charming place to stay out town of Chiang Mai.
Just a little note...it would be more practical if you rent your own car,
if not Paul will help you out the best way he can.
Thanks again Khun Paul and Khun Dolly, and keep up with your energy!

If you want to visit Chang Mai and want to stay in a beautiful and quiet place: Jasmine Hill's is the place you should go. We planned to stay 3 nights and ended up staying 9! We are a family with 2 small children (6 and 3) and for them this was also a very nice resort, mostly because of the wonderful pool and the warm and kind attention of the 2 owners, Paul & Dolly. They are very helpful in pointing out nice things in the area, which is why we feel we have seen a lot of Chiang Mai and surroundings.
The rooms at Jasmine Hills are beautiful individual bungalows (spacious, which makes it possible to have an extra bed in the room in which both of our children slept), they all have their own terrace, were you can enjoy your evening.
Jasmine Hills is actually in Doi Saket, which is a little town next to Chiang Mai. From the resort it is 30 minutes by local bus to the center, which may seem long, but is a nice and easy drive by local bus. Paul brings you to the bus station and is very helpful in even bringing you to the ZOO or Night Safari, etc.
The food at the resort is very nice and of a good quality. Apart from Thai food, they also offer Malasian and Western dishes
We would definitely stay here again!

Room Tip: Stay at the bugalows, they all have their own privatte terrace.

Paul, Dolly & Staff could not have done more to make us feel mor at home or welcome to this lovely lodge in the gorgeous area of Chiang Mai. The rooms were very authentic, and the setting was one of perfect calmness and serenity. After 4 days in bustling Hong Kong, this was perfect for us before we headed off to explore the rest of Thailand over a three week period. Everyone made such a fuss of our little boy, and we would recommend this lodge to anyone who wants to be away from the hussle of central Ching Mai. The location was excellent, and we enjoyed every second of our stay here
