Greenacre Bed & Breakfast

Reviewed 10 August 2014

Stayed at Greenacres in February this year and enjoyed it so much we booked for our stopover back home from France in preference to the large hotel chains. The property is immaculate yet very comfortable and spacious and benefits from a beautiful private garden. Pauline and Antonio are wonderful hosts they are very welcoming and go out of their way to make your stay a great experience. Breakfast is amazing, truly amazing and I hope to return with my family.

On our way to the Yorkshire Dales we stopped at a wonderful B+B near the Dartford Tunnel in Swanley,Kent. The hostess Pauline was incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome immediately.
The rooms were very comfortable and clean, everything was taken care of (tea+coffee making facilities, a fridge etc.)There were two rooms and a wintergarden, all 3 of them had tvs.Unbelievable!!!
And the best thing was the enormous English breakfast that we were given the next morning, again amazing. We're still looking for bacon that tastes as nice as Pauline cooked for us (apart from the mushrooms, eggs, toast, tomatoes etc).Being German we wanted to do without the sausages and the beans.
All in all we can really say that this has been the best B+B for ages, and we come to England nearly every year.
So hats off to Pauline for a wonderful cosy and comfortable B+B and marvellous food.

Actually found this fantastic B&B on tripadvisor and what a find. Pauline and Antonio were fantastic hosts. We arrived really early and were able to leave our bags at the house. The rooms were spotless and the little touches (chocolates, kitchen, milk, tea, coffee, water etc etc) were very appreciated. We had our own little sitting area with sky TV which was fantastic. Pauline even offered us ice to go with our drinkies. The breakfast was awsome (amazing poached eggs) and kept us full the whole day. We visited Swanley for a family wedding and Antonio even dropped us to the wedding venue which was so kind. I can honestly say if we are ever back in Swanley again we won't hesitiate to stay with Pauline and Antonio. Fantastic hosts and very, very kind. Thank you for making our weekend that little bit better.

Room Tip: Very close to the train station. Easy parking.

Wow - what a gem! We couldn't believe our eyes when we checked into this wonderful B and B. There were two extremely large, well-equipped bedrooms, a kitchen area, lovely conservatory with two squashy leather sofas, huge TV with Sky, lovely private outdoor area and bowls of chocolates. Everywhere was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was a treat and the full English and eggs benedict kept us going all day. And if all that wasn't enough there was Pauline and Antonio, two of the most welcoming and friendly B&B hosts we have ever met. Unfortunately we could only manage one night but we will be back - if we can get in! Michael and Sue, Eastbourne

We stayed at Greenacre B&B 6 days in April 2014.
The accommodation is fitted very comfortable.
It has two bedrooms, a lounge with flatscreen, a bathroom and a
small kitchen with a fridge, a kettle, a sink, dishes and cutlery in it.
Coffee, Chocolate and a choice of various teas are offered always, as well
as sweets and chocs. If something is empty it will be refilled by the hosts as soon
as possible.
We had a furnished Patio for our own use, where it is allowed to smoke.
The accommodation is a non-smoking area.
The hosts are very very friendly.
Any questions or wishes were complied immediatly, always pleasent and with a smile.
We had the choich between different breakfasts.
Pauline and Antonio served a really great breakfast, always beautifully presented and large, so that we didn`t have to take lunch.
From the first minute of our stay we felt at home.
We`ll come back again, to enjoy another great leave in this beautiful accommodation.

I cannot rate this bed and breakfast highly enough. From the moment that I rang the front door bell I felt valued as a guest. Everything about the place was comfort, from the choice of breakfast which was beautifully presented to the bowls of chocolates that were replenished every day. I felt like a member of the family. I recommend this establishment to anyone who wants to stay in this area.

Stayed 1 night for a business trip. Had a horrendous journey by train and Pauline kindly came to collect me from the station at 11pm! My room was a welcome oasis of warmth and calm with chocs, a mini kitchen and everything I needed. Great breakfast with friendly service from both hosts. The place is absolutely spotless and I have no hesitation in recommending Greenacre to anyone who needs a lovely place to stay. I plan to return with family for a stay in the vicinity of the capital without the extortionate costs of a soul-less city centre hotel.
