Indeed this is a good looking hotel with a lovely view of Ajaccio .
But while the room was lovely we found the restaurant quixotic with audacious prices and food sadly not up to an expected Sofitel standard .
As mentioned in previous reviews , you are on the flight path (3am onwards one morning) and miles from anywhere.
I shall leave it at that ....

Room Tip: Choose a room far away from the outside bar as you can

Had a wonderful four nights here, but question if it is a five star hotel. Parts of it are, but most of it isn't. The pool area is beautiful and the staff are very attentive. The restaurant was good, but not exceptional. The breakfast was hugely overpriced. The room was OK, but not overly large. The service of the room was OK, however the tea, coffee and milk were never replenished. Cleaning was hit and miss and there were many areas that need updating. None of this distracts from a wonderful four nights, just not sure the cost is justified

What a pleasant surprise this hotel was. Friendy, attentive staff with concierge available 8am - 10pm. Beautiful setting with a private beach, nice swimming pool, and covered outside dining. Except for 2 half-day trips we did not want to leave the grounds! They have bicycles free to use and there is a ferry to Ajaccio about 15 minutes (walking) away. I highly recommend this hotel.

Amazing place! It s distant from Ajaccio but if you rent a car, everything is gonna be fine. In anyway, you really don t want to leave the hotel, since you there to relax, to have an amazing drink, to enjoy its pvt beach and all the sceneario. Staff is wonderful, they help you with everything. If you do not to intend to rent a car, arrange a pick up for E30 by e-mail or in the front-desk when u leave.

A really good hotel where staff were superb ,attentive, professional at all times. The hotel is well presented with a lovely bar and outside seating area overlooking the sea. There is a pretty private beach and great swimming pool for guests . One of the nicest hotels in Europe we have encountered.unfortunately the down side Is the restaurant . The service was incredibly slow and after 49 minutes wait we had to ask to be served.Frustrating after a long days travel.
The meals were just luke warm and bland tasting . Such a shame for a fantastic hotel. Hopefully they will improve the restaurant .We will look forward to seeing further reviews if they do.

Room Tip: Most rooms have a great sea view but looking back to Ajaccio seems to be the best.
